Never ever rent a unit from these people. They let you get robbed blind. Then put one of there locks on the unit and don’t reach out.

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST STORAGE FACILITY I HAVE EVER USED!! I have used several storage facilities over the span of almost 10 years and I’ve literally never had these issues with any other place. I’ve been charged for insurance through them several months in a row when I sent via email (and then proved I sent it) the coverage I already had for it. I had to call every month to continue to remove it. Then they make you pay a $10 convenience fee for processing a corrected payment when it’s free online (they claim they cannot correct it online). Lastly, when I finally agree to set up auto payment with a representative, it was never started so I had to call AGAIN to argue a late fee for thinking it was supposed to be set up. And let’s not mention how they give you a great entry price and then send you notices that their prices are going up. I now pay nearly double of what my entry price was and itll be a year this month. Nobody is actually present at this place so the only people you can talk to is a third party customer rep. SO ANNOYED! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Steer clear of this place… First, it is not locally owned. The only people you can get in touch with are people from an outsourced company. I secured my unit online. When I showed up, the gate was open. It didn’t close the entire time I was there. We drove around trying to find our unit and couldn't find it, so we went to the office. No one works there, so we had to call customer service. After she directed us to our unit, the door was completely jammed and would not open. We tried EVERYTHING. It wouldn’t lift. On top of all of this, the units are down a hill and there is a LOT of standing water around the buildings. We had to use 4-wheel drive to get out of the place — absolutely not able to drive a small car in and out of there. I sat on the phone for 30 minutes to cancel/receive a refund, and they (Copper Safe) only refunded me partially. Do your research! Go see it before you sign a contract. It was a terrible experience for me all around. This happened on January 27th, 2024.
