I am a high volume buyer and I would prefer to work with local vendors but every time I come here, the lady that works the counter feels very disingenuous and borderline bitchy. I am doing you a favor by coming to your store, lady. It's not the other way around. I use all of their stuff but working with them to get it is not worth it. Clearly they are not looking to grow their business and that's fine IMO. They don't have to work with folks that will spend a lot and not haggle with them at every turn. They are very consistent at running my dollars off, I will give them that.

Customer service was horrible for a retail store. The woman and gentleman at counter were not helpful. They told me a bald face lie about there products and when I called them on it, I was ignored and not helped. I don't think this is how you do business when you are servicing the public. I really needed help and they were unwilling to give our offer any.

I absolutely love this place. Great prices, fast friendly service. They had my car loaded up before I could even walk out the door. That was awesome. I can find things here i would typically have to order.

We always stop by when in Dallas, great garden center with nice hometown folks. It is so nice to stop in & look around. Last season, I purchased a really nice Triumph muscadine vine from them. This year, we stopped by to see what varieties they had and when I tell you what they had in late July was nice, nice quality vines. I posted the photos on a muscadine group I belong to so any locals that needed vines could go give these folks some business. Always appreciate this business!!! ?

So nice! Ypy can fill up your propane tank instead of trading it in and it is cheaper.

I called a head of time to see if they had happy frog soil potting mix. lady told me yea we have plenty. I told her ill be up in 10min. I get there the lady said they sold all the rest of it. I was so disappointed, and I had my 2 year old baby and all. she could've heald a bag for me, this company is unorganized, and don't no there inventory. This is the first and last time I'll ever come to this place just order online people avoid the hassle plus it's cheaper online.

We LOVE Elrod's! This is a local nursery that truly cares about their customers. They are truly knowledgeable about agriculture and want to help! The helpers throughout Elrod's are ready and willing to help load, track down, carry or do anything else to help. They have a large selection of fertilizer, seeds & plants to choose from. We were originally headed to Pikes Nursery but decided to checkout the local option and we are so glad we did! We will be back for all of our planting needs in the future.

This is the way companies used to be ran. 32 minutes getting what has taken me almost 2 hours at the big box stores. Nice and most importantly, knowledgeable service. Instead of having to hunt somebody to help, they found me after the radio call from the front desk.

Shopping at Elrod's is always a pleasure because of Sam, Danita, and their terrific staff. They consistently have a great selection of plants. Something that sets them apart is the fact that they will load your car for you. You won't get that kind of service at the big home improvement stores!

Elrod Garden Center is a beautiful local business. The owners are on site and extremely knowledgeable. They have a wide variety of beautiful, healthy, native plants that grow well in our area. The building itself has old fashioned items like syrup, nuts, honey, & candy available seasonally. They have some handcrafted items as well. I love shopping Elrod's, particularly if I need large bags of potting soil. You just pay at the counter then drive by the outer building and they load the car/truck for you!! All employees are friendly and helpful!! It's a joy to shop this hometown business!!
