So I was just in the DG on Gold mine road in Yorkville. And somebody was parked in the handicap spot I watched him get out of the car I made a comment if you're not handicapped you shouldn't be parked there. So we walk in the door and he gets in my face. Acts like he's going to hit me while the black haired girl is ringing up customers telling me to hush. But she won't do nothing about it and sit there and watched it. This DG is going downhill. And for the AKA manager I told him about it and all he can say is I'll have to look on camera later. She just watched as a grown man was getting ready to hit me. And nobody will do anything about it. Because he was wrong.

Dollar General left me utterly disappointed with their abysmal service. Despite the seemingly friendly cashier, the overall disorganization marred my experience. It took an agonizing 10 minutes for her to locate the key to open the propane tank gates, and then an excruciating 25-minute wait for the manager to appear. When he finally did, his lackadaisical approach was infuriating; no compassion or sympathy for the considerable wait. His futile attempt to find the key resulted in a blunt statement that exchanges were impossible that day, showcasing a blatant disregard for customer service. A frustrating ordeal, leaving me empty-handed after wasting 35 minutes. Thanks for nothing, Dollar General.

This dollar general is expensive compared to the other DGs in the area. I’d rather drive to the one near roses store and save $2-5 on every item than pay the outrageous prices at this store.

Tonight we had such a great Experience shopping at Dollar General. This is conveniently known located in Yorkville close from our home.The associate, Tonya, was most helpful to us today. We could only find 2 of the 3 for 11$ 12pack Mt. Dews. Tonya went above and beyond to help us locate the third one and show us where the sale display of them were at. She helped is locate other items as well tonight. What a kind thoughtful sole! We will definitely keep coming back!

The Dollar General on 2425 Goldmine road, Dallas, Georgia is convenient due its location. HOWEVER, inside the store is dirty, cluttered, and the aisles are always blocked. Inventory of product is below standards, refrigerated foods are soured or expired. Produce is rotting on the shelf. Pricing marked on the shelves are higher at the register, some products are very high at the register and it is not because the products have been moved-- this is an excuse that is not true. I will no longer shop at this store. I will drive into Rockmart or Hiram.

Awful customer service! People at the register kept going outside with a line full, I was next in line when they were switching drawers but the guy told the person behind me to be next. Then I went to pay the guy never said a word to me. I rather drive farther from that place then to go back there again. Just awful.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.This is the worst experience I have ever had at a retail store. I am an avid Pokémon card collector and as some people may know, Dollar General sells two 3-card packs of older cards for $3.25. They are very hard to come by. One this particular day, there were 8 of these packs remaining. My buddy and I were going to buy what was left. The employee working the register, handed me the box of these packs to sort through. To help identify this employee, he was an African-American Man with glasses. He is by far one of the best dollar general workers I have ever come across. We exchanged a light-hearted conversation about Pokémon as he assisted me and handed me the packs to buy. He had a smile on his face the whole time. Then came the worst customer experience I had ever had. These packs are relatively rare as I said and as I was removing the packs out of the box and placing them in my hand, an older white lady, who I'm assuming is the manager swiped them from my grasp. I still had three of the six packs I was going to purchase in my hand. I looked up confused as to where she put the packs."Where are the other three packs?" I asked politely and I proceeded to say "I was going to buy them."She then looks back at me and bluntly states to my face,"I am going to buy these for my [grandson or nephew, I forgot who exactly she said]"It just doesn't seem right to do that and it was quite frustrating. Saving products for family members at the expense of a CUSTOMER's purchase and leisure in the store. We then find some sleeved booster packs that my friend and I are debating on buying as our selection was snatched away by the woman. We take some off of the shelf and go to find a red bull, chips, and candy. The lady then pursues us and rudely declares,"You need to stay in the front if you are going to buy those."It's as if she was not wanting us to purchase the cards so that she could save them for her grandson/nephew. She also said this in an accusing way as if we were trying to steal or something. We then made our way to the front without our chips and candy due to her demands. Again another product snatched away from us. We then purchase the packs we originally had. The man at the register rings us up with a smile and strikes up conversation about his thoughts on Pokémon growing up. We pay for the very limited amount of things that we were actually allowed to purchase by this heinous manager, and exit the store, both baffled at what had just happened. I hope that this review is not lost and taken into consideration. Hopefully this can prevent any other customers from having such a terrible experience and enables change to occur within the store. I'd say if you're a customer just go to the next closest dollar general. It's not worth the headache and frustration that we had experienced.

When we first moved to the area this place was the go to place, now they're always out of stuff or they have stuff that's been recalled on the shelves. This new lady working the register today was rude, didn't bag all of my items (so I had to bag everything), put 8 heavy items in one bag without double bagging it (so I had to), then proceeded to tell the lady behind me to come up when I was having to bag the stuff she didn't. The employee's are a joke and so is this store!!

The cashier was the sweetest girl! She was quick and very efficient!I was extremely disappointed with the prices. The owner states that they have reasonable prices.. If you do the math on the bacon..it is 8$ a pound. Little Debbie cakes 2 for 5$, Hostess cakes 2 for 6$. 12 pack Mountain Dew 3 for 12$..I might as well shop at Walmart and get more of a variety, fresher and prices are the same if not cheaper at Walmart.Dollar General fail today!

I went to this dollar general in Dec to purchase some chocolate chips to make cookies. I purchased the clover brand. When I went to use them and opened the bag the chips were white in color on the outside. When I looked at the best by date it was August 18, 2021. I was just in the store again today and I looked at the ones on the shelves and there were still some that were dated August and October 2021 there. I spoke to a store employee at the checkout and he seemed to not be concerned. The staff are not checking product as they put new product out. This is a health concern and is just bad business practices.

Restrooms should be made available for handwashing purposes also. To be told " out of order " is a common practice that all Dollar general stores seem to have. Maybe a reliable plumbing service would be a great investment. ???

Cleaner than most dollar generals in the country. They also have a home section and fresh produce section which is really nice. Most def will shop at this one alot more than the others.
