Why can't I get through to them on the phone? They took my package for FedEx and scanned it in and then told me I will get a text on my number which I never got. Now I don't have the tracking number that I need to give to the company. I am out of town and can't perso ally go to the store until I get back. Their number keeps coming up busy.

I have lived in this area for almost a year now and have not had any issues with the staff. I would highly recommend this store. Amanda is the store manager and she is always nice. Mistie does a great job keeping the store clean. This store is pretty organized compared with other dollar general stores. Definitely will shop here again!

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. Especially if you have a service animal. Me and my husband come to this store all the time with our service animal. Today walking in around 2:00 PM on a Thursday. June 15, 2023 walking in no store associate had a problem with our dog and even said he was adorable, although AMANDA, rudely tells my husband she will deny service as long as our service dog is with him when it is his service animal, (AT CHECKOUT). We did not want to leave our service dog in the car since the heat today is up to 80 degrees even with the windows cracked and water it would not be a good idea. My husband brings his service animal to our car as he is walking out they are still talking bad about the situation which he hates public embarrassment and goes back in and she is hiding in the back room with a line of customers waiting along with us, we just went to self checkout I go to the room to tell them hey you do have customers out here. She comes out puts in his birthday for a lighter and walks back to the back room. Continues to turn around and say if you have a problem with it you can call corporate as I told her I would, she needs to put a sign up at the front saying no service animals allowed. There was no sign at the front saying that at all!!!!!!! Plus if I can take my service animal into a restaurant why can't I in dollar general? So I called corporate and explained the situation which the customer representative was very professional, understanding and effective. Apologizing to me when it was not her fault at all. She asked me to go back to ask for the name which I did and when I asked "Mam, what was your name?" She responded Amanda!! And if you do not leave I will call the police.... For what? Bringing our service animal in and asking for your name? Which the customer representative heard and could not believe her tone of voice. When leaving calmly when I was asked to she continues to go up to the front doors and locked them, girl it is not that serious. There has been a report made and if I could give this store 0 stars I definitely would. Do not go here unless your looking for threats, discrimination and an abomination of what they call customer service. I will not go back until the situation is handled appropriately. Thank you.

I needed a battery for security.. it was on the shelf, then I was denied because discontinued? Ridiculous. Take it off the shelf or sell the advertised product or both. Horrible customer service!

Always rude employees. Self checkout always down..crowded, never have what I need to get in stock. It’s very annoying.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who the employees have been rude to. I thought the 1st time it happened that maybe they were having a bad day but, after several times by multiple workers it had me feeling like "well dang what did I do?". Now seeing its happened to others? Now it's problem. U have to be careful how U treat someone because U never know what they're going thru and an incident like that happens could make or break a person. If U don't want Ur job then get on down the road. But U know.....watch Ur mouth.

Usually so much easier to run in and out than WalMart but its getting pricey because of newer and/or rennovated stores

I have lived in new hope area for 10 years and shopped almost every Saturday now. I would highly recommend this store. Amanda is the store manager and she is always nice. This store is pretty organized compared with other dollar general stores. The only thing I wish is that if we can use 5 off 25 at regular days, that would be fantastic. Sometimes I don't have to go every Saturday. They also have WiFi and the dollar general apps work great. So if you want to do a little couponing, it is fantastic.
