350 GA-52, DahlonegaHow did we not see this place on our radar? Not that we get up to north GA every other week, but what matters is that we found it and got to see Ferguson and Hamish. Don't see cows that then too often in these parts. What can I say, I love animals and it's a draw to me. Various spots to sit and hang out and sample some good beers, and if you're lucky as we were, to catch some good, live music. Good vibe. Family friendly. Friendly staff. Good beer selection. They have a hefe, which if you know me, it's my go-to. So happy they're becoming more popular. But I also had the pumpkin stout. I had to have it given the season and I do love pumpkin. It was great, but beware that the gravity is a little higher. Thumbs up on the hazy IPA as well. We really look forward to going back and hope mu husband's band can play there sometime.

There's also a Winemaker's Reserve Tasting: $56/person on Saturdays by Reservation Only. First visit and had a great experience! We stopped in towards the end of the day, so it wasn't crowded. They have a nice tasting room, as well as a covered/enclosed patio and outdoor seating areas. They had live music the day we were there, but he was just finishing up when we sat down to taste. WINES: Tyler, owner & winemaker, poured for us and provided excellent details on his wines, the winery, and North Georgia winemaking in general. We spoke with him for quite some time, enjoying our shared tastings, and even getting to sample a couple barrel tastings of some upcoming reds. Tyler uses fruit from Georgia, as well as California, Washington, Texas, and more. He offers a wide variety of whites, reds, and dessert wines, including a couple varietals not commonly known to the everyday wine drinker. There are also wine cocktails and mocktails, should you desire something a little different. As I always say when it comes to wines, what I like/dislike may be different than you, so I suggest that you give them a try for yourselves. The quality of Accent's wines was the best we experienced on this trip to the North Georgia Wine Country, and the ambiance and service were fantastic! I highly recommend you check them out.

The beauty of the area, the wineries, and the beauty of the small towns were wonderful, but this wine bar/shop absolutely was the highlight of our trip!! Vickie (happy birthday!) and Amanda made us feel like regulars from our first visit (we went several times). Proudly serving Georgia wines, they walked us through the nuances of the local vineyards, grapes, and production styles all while introducing us to locals, offering suggestions for our trip, helping with reservations and just being great in general. Stop in for a tasting, a bottle, an education of the local wine scene, or to check out the local artwork, and leave wishing you lived closer so you could visit more often!

Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery
439 Vineyard Way, DahlonegaThe vineyard is in a beautiful rolling hills setting. Drive in and follow the signs till you drive the gravel road around the vineyard. You'll find parking after the wood and glass barn. The tasting room is on the right in the white building. I tried a flight of red and white with their port. All are good. The port was my favorite. The wine and a charcuterie tray were purchased together.
Parking is on a slight slope with grass. Not too much of an incline.
I enjoyed everything under the covered patio. It has some spectacular views. Enjoy!
