Regions helped my 17 year old establish his first bank account, the rep was extremely helpful, made it easy, without being over whelming was personable to the point of comfort for my teen to reach his financial goals and thrive…just starting his first job, this experience left my son feeling responsible and confident! a bank account to deposit his paychecks, a savings account to build on, an options to manage his money.

I went to cash/deposit my check and was told that I'd have to pay a fee even though I bank with them. I was also told that my only other option was to go to a completely different bank for some reason. This makes no sense!UPDATE: I went to a different location and had absolutely no problems whatsoever!

Horrible customer service. David is rude and sarcastic and lied about the info he gave me . If he would’ve gave me the correct information I would’ve have wasted my time today. Made my process very uncomfortable I will never use this branch ever again.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with Angelina. Angelina was extremely uninformed and disrespectful and was irritated when asked questions. I was trying to cash a cashiers check written from Regions Bank to me and was told they didn’t have the cash. First, that should be illegal. If I write a check and couldn’t cash it, it would be. She then told me myself or the person the cashier check came from would need an account so that person came to the branch and then she told us that they still needed to verify it with business services even though they already verified it with the other branch. Anytime either of us asked questions she would be rude, smirk, and tell us we had to wait but could not provide how long it would be. Worst experience. Eventually we had to drive to another Regions bank 30 minutes away to get it resolved.

I can not express a more unprofessional bank in the Regions family. My credit card statement was charged interest after it was paid in full. So I called the bank to get this credited back. First I spoke with Chris who couldn't figure out the accounts. So I asked to speak with a manager. I held online but no one came online. So I called back and spoke to Brooke. She asked me to hold, but never came back. So I called back and was told everyone was helping clients. I told her I wanted to speak with the manager, instead of asking to take my number, she said YOU WILL NEED TO HOLD! So I held again, with no one returning to the phone. So I called back and the phone was picked up and I was put on hold without even someone answering. WOW! I did call the number on the back of the card and was helped.

I applied for a cc with a credit score of 801, they denied it and sent a letter after many days of application and told me to go to this office to see the reason of the issue, and when I got to the this office they told me they only wanted to see my residency card, wt... I'm a U.S. citizen! The representative told me that it'll be immediately approved but he couldn't guarantee that I'll get an inquiry on my credit report. Be mindful of this type of customer service before doing business with this bank.

i opened and account with them on thursday october 15th and paid $50 to open but i added $80 instead and literally the next day i went to buy breakfast and my card declined. TWICE. then when i called the branch i opened with they were acting like they didn’t know what i was talking about so i showed up and was greeted by mr. Debargia i’m the parking lot and he began telling me they were working on it and i was just adamant about closing my account because i didn’t trust them anymore. but they continued to try and convince me to keep the account open but i already had my mind made. one of the tellers gave me some money out of my account because my account was overdrawn because of the money that went missing and i was told i could keep swiping my card and they would cover the fees. but i didn’t even want to do that. so today, october 17th i went to regions to close my account officially and my account was overdrawn AGAIN because they took money from me again without me knowing and i wasn’t even aware of it until i got to the bank to close my account ! regions bank is not a good bank to bank with with all this being said.

I don't know what the problem is with banks. I opened an account, paid my $30 to open it and later got a letter that account couldn't be opened and my money was never returned. Be careful, Regions Bank is crooked like most banks
