Any type of meat you desire, Wilkes has you covered. My family loves that we can get really fresh chicken and a lot of choices. I highly recommend their marinated chicken breasts, but their bone in skin on thighs are our favorite.If pork is your thing, they have great Boston butts and 3 types of ribs (baby back, St. Louis and Country style, not to mention pork chops, and pork tenderloin. All are great choices.If you are looking for beef they have amazing steaks, brisket and ground beef (and round and sirloin).This is the only place we come to buy our meats.Shop here and you won't be disappointed

I’ve been hearing about Wilkes for some time but just went there for the first time about 3 weeks ago. We love it. Meats are very good. Staff is great!! Have been there at least 6 times since. Going today. Filets-WOW!! Sausage’s, bacon, bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are all darn good. Haven’t gotten anything from there we aren’t absolutely pleased with.

Excellent local butcher. Wilkes has everything you need to grill or smoke from charcoal and wood chunks to sauces, rubs, and seasoning. They also have a variety of staples and sell freshly made, ready to eat food daily.

The prices may be slightly little higher than walmart or ingles, but the wide variety and vastly superior quality easily justify the expense. Instead of a frozen bag/tube of "fresh meat product" covered in unidentifiable fatty slime that fills the frozen section of the aforementioned chain stores, you can see what you are purchasing and the ensure that you are getting what you pay for in advance. The staff is helpful, the store is clean, and the mouth watering array of meats is reminiscent of the description of Valhalla in norse mythology.

Great place for all meats grass fed. Pick up some smoked wings. They are the best. Don't forget the sides.
