Besides Cheryl who I know is wonderful and worked with my family for years, I did not feel valued with who I worked with being the first year doing taxes with them opposed toTurbo tax.Did not have any attention to detail on our case, not informative with sudden changes in what we owed or deductibles, and couldn’t even tell me who worked on my taxes (that were READY to be filed beginning of February. I called multiple times ready to sign and send in to not receive a call back, it was finally resolved last minute to file on tax day, that resulted in not giving us any time to prepare financially when it was quickly rejected with missing a document that impacted what we owed greatly to IRS).Again I’m sure what was filed was correct and don’t doubt from a knowledge standpoint being the best they could do and this is what was going to happen regardless. But with the lack of customer service, I felt mixed in the shuffle and not valued at all. Wish I would have done turbo tax.

Absolutely horrible establishment. They botched my wife’s business taxes so badly that we almost got denied mortgage approval and lost the house we had placed an offer on. On top of that, they don’t answer emails or return phone calls. My wife had to go sit in their lobby unannounced and wait for Teddra to come out to get answers, and she was told that they just ignored the emails because they didn’t know the answer to what my wife was asking. We are considering reporting them to the IRS for gross negligence. Avoid at all costs.

Cheryl and Barry have done my taxes for years and over those years they have made so many mistakes to where we have owed thousands of dollars. Something sketchy is definitely going on because we are no where near the tax range to owe that much money. She even admitted a mistake was made years ago and after nearly a month of trying to reach Cheryl we have given up on them. She DOES NOT CARE and they are a rip off. Careless and will not make any attempt to fix their mistakes.

The Tax Shelter is a Wonderful Group! Last year my husband and I were having trouble organizing and getting all of the tax papers together as a newly married couple and the Amazing people at the Tax Shelter made it simple and go it all taken care of within 2 weeks!!We will be using this company for every Tax season from here on out!

I hired this company in March 2021 to do my personal taxes. It has been a nightmare and now I am getting letters from the state as amended returns were not electronically submitted as promised. I just received call back from Last Week to ask same questions again and now they claim they did not ever amend my return that I have a copy of. This is unprofessional and unusual for numbers people to have to go into your file over and over before they can finish and print. It appears this practice of theirs is how this mistake happened. Now I have to start filing complaints with regulatory agencies to prove to state and feds that my check did match what I was told. RUN from this firm. STRESS AND LEGAL ISSUES IS WHAT YOU GET WITH TAX SHELTER.
