Firstly, I will say that Rus is amazing and he’s done the best that he could with the card he was dealt. Excellent customer service, I encourage you to ask for him if you do decide to go with TTD. That being said, I have been working with them since Nov of last year for a custom table and with all the issues that have come up I am STILL dealing with quality control issues that are not being resolved but rather, swept to the side. I will say this, the measure of a good company is how you’re treated AFTER you make your purchase, not before or during.
TTD’s policy is that you pay up front your entire amount due, in my case, 4 thousand dollars for a custom 84” white oak parsons table. Now they will tell you that they can get any custom color you want and guarantee your satisfaction (absolutely NO money back because they would rather keep trying than give you a refund). I went with this of course because I felt confident they meant what they said. Unfortunately, once they got my money, I fell into a minefield of obstacles lasting me 1 year long. Now I was guaranteed a 100% white oak table. But what I got was a white oak table top with red oak legs. It took 5-6 months to get the table top to even come remotely close to the legs because they had to use different stains or apply them differently. The legs are still pink and the top is white oak, but I was tired of sending it back to get sanded again and again so I accepted something close to matching.
After accepting, I am coming to see that the lacquer has been so poorly applied that when I tap it with any utensil, or even my FINGERNAIL, the lacquer comes right off and exposes the bare wood. I have now been talking to management for a resolution for two months but my calls keep getting forgotten or my in house meeting forgotten and needing to be rescheduled.
If you want to buy a table they have on the floor already, maybe it won’t be a bad idea, there’s no saying.. but if you want a custom piece, I would encourage you to do more research and find a company that will back their promises. At the very least negotiate a half down and half at completion or some kind of return policy because it’s just not good business to take 100% payment and still not have a properly functioning product one year later. I wish I never made this purchase, but I will continue to try and have my issue resolved because I have no other choice.

Rus was is the gem of this company hes what keeps it going and truly cares about his clients. Headquarters is another story but Rus made sure it was compensated in the end.

Smyrna/Vinings plp. So glad to see another review about them making things wrong. I had a table redone 3 times because it was too high or couldn’t fit in my breakfast nook. I paid the rush fee and my first table took 8 weeks (4 weeks past) no complaints on my end. Once it was all done and the table finally fit they wouldn’t update the PO to what I took home and also kept the rush fee! I ordered in May the process finished in October ??♀️ don’t pay rush fee and don’t take the hand out of they want to “make it right”. Shame on y’all from the Smyrna downtown area. My friends and neighbors throughout all know how you have handled this from asking me how it all went. Make it right. Rus is the only professional at this business.

I have used Table Top Dan twice. Once for a bathroom vanity and once for an end table. Both time were fantastic. I completely recommend. It takes a while to get your tables but it's worth the wait.

We loved the experience with TTD! We can't remember the specific sales associate who helped (it's been a few months), but she was super helpful and we enjoyed the process of selecting our table and chairs. We look forward to getting additional pieces in the future.

I designed my table, and to say it is unique is an understatement. I'm sure they have never made a table like mine. The Craftsmanship and staining is beautiful. The staff was very helpful in three design aspects and making it work. My only complaint is that the wood is extremely soft. Not ideal for a kitchen table. Almost Immediately, I have divits in the top. Very disappointing considering how much work and thought went into such a cool table.

As someone that walks into multiple homes per day for a living, I have seen the good, bad and ugly. I knew without a doubt that I needed a beautiful statement piece that would fit my large family, offer amazing quality, one that was unique while also not breaking the bank. I am so grateful that I stumbled upon Table Top Dan off of Facebook. They offer all of the above and go the extra mile. I not only ordered my 8ft table from them, they made it easy to customize and it’s truly stunning. The delivery and assembly by their crew was spot on and easy, and since I’m very visual, they never balked at my need to stop in and see colors in person. I even added chairs to my order when I saw them, amazingly comfortable, no need for adding pads or cushions.I didn’t just stop with my dining room, I custom ordered a beautiful L shaped desk for my home office. Their pieces are reasonably priced and stunning. In fact, I’ve been thinking of having them create a piece for my main office foyer, their butterfly table legs really catch your eye.I would highly recommend stopping by their show room if you are on the market for a table, bookshelf, whatever the case may be. Don’t waste your time with particleboard tables that you can pick up most anywhere else.
