Great place... just super pricey (almost double). I feel like they cater to wealthy clientele (good for them, I just can't stomach paying for overpriced additional office visits).
I loved the convenience and Dr. Merz is great! While I knew I was overpaying (I have no problem paying more to some extent), additional/unnecssary office visits (at $90/visit) is what is making us find a new vet. I said to the scheduler (after again being told that I would need two office visits for shots and an exam), "I may need to find another vet..." her reply was, "Sorry to hear that, have a nice day." That's all I needed to say "goodbye." I immediately found another vet, highly recommended by several coworkers, and office visits are $52. The location is not as convenient, but at least they are fairly priced and can do shots AND an exam in one visit.

I was very impressed with South Forsyth Animal Hospital. I needed the services of a USDA accredited veterinarian to give my two cats their USDA exam in order to travel with them to Europe. Dr. Merz (veterinarian) and Paige (veterinary technician) were incredibly helpful, kind, and thorough in performing the exams and pulling together the travel paperwork. Preparing these USDA medical reports and travel documents is difficult work and any mistakes can result in your pet not being allowed to ship. So I was very glad to have such an experienced team performing the work. My whole experience with this animal hospital was outstanding and I warmly recommend them.

Dr Lisa and Dr Cheryl have taken care of my first beagle and my second beagle for a total of about 27 years. I would not go anywhere else

I'm sure they are good doctors but not a $2000 worth of dog teeth cleaning. They refuse to give Rx to third party like Chewy, pet care Rx or even a pet insurance because they want you to buy Rx from them which is WAY over priced...like twice the amount. Need to schedule teeth cleaning you have to pay a deposit first then wait 30 days....there are far better and convenient services to be found elsewhere.

Seriously amazing people work here. They treat your fur babies as if they were their own. We are extremely happy with this vet! Riggs had to have surgery to remove a broken k9 tooth. My daughter just had a well check on her new baby, and they were so helpful. 100% recommend this group.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about SFAH. We have 4 dogs and we have had nothing but an amazing experience since 2016. Dr O'neal, Dr Hillier, Dr Merz and the entire staff from the front desk to the techs are professional, knowledgeable and really fun to work with. You just don't get service like this anywhere else.

We had to find a new vet when ours retired. Did not care for the new group and began searching. Ended up finding one close to our home but it wasn't the closeness that got us. It was the care. An extremely attentive staff. Saying that, I mean not only the doctor's but the techs as well. Very thorough and caring, I cannot recommend this place more.
