Amazing!!! I went for a silk press and Ms Nadine hooked me up ! My hair is light and bouncy! And it was raining outside so she took the extra step to preserve my hairstyle ! pin curled and protected! We are bonded for life lol . My scalp feels so clean and my hair responded to her hands . Good vibes !!

I’ve been coming here for about….. I dunno 10 years or so. It’s been so long I can’t remember when I started. LOL. Nevertheless, I moved cross country to the southwest 5 years ago. That said, during these last 5 years, I’ve traveled back every 3 months to ATL metro …. getting my hair done. That’s how legit Simply U is!!!!

I've been going to the same beautician for 5 years. Only problem is, her shop is 45 minutes across town. I've been wanting to find a new salon closer to home for a while. Since I'm transitioning to natural, I figured this was a good time to give it a try. As a plus, I'll be supporting a local salon. I asked my neighbor and she suggested Simply U.Try, I did. And unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. I ended up walking out, which is something I've never had to do. Guess there's a first for everything. Everyone was nice enough, but they had no sense of time management. I made my appointment a week in advance. Like a good client, I made it to the salon 10 minutes before my appointment time.And yet, I was still forced to wait over an hour. I watched the beautician braid 2 girls' hair and move on to another lady, who came in after me. When I finally had enough of waiting, I told the beautician that I was leaving. She tried to get me to stay. She said she would wash my hair at that moment. I was afraid she would wet my hair and make me wait another hour or two before styling it, being that she was working on several other clients, so I declined the offer.I'm not mad, just disappointed. There's not a ton of black salons in my area, so I was hoping and praying this would be a good experience, but unfortunately, it wasn't.

I had a very good experience. My schedule was tight and my scalp was in need of some serious love. I can't remember the name of my stylist but she was very sweet and took time explaining the services she could offer in the time I had. The shampoo experience was amazing!!!!!! My scalp felt so much better after her service. I really didn't care about the style I just needed something that would last during an army two week field exercise. She installed crochet braids that looked great but when I put on my uniform I had to take roughly two packs of braids out because it was just to much hair for a bun.

Praise God we found this hair salon and thank God for Ms. Marie for her plethora of knowledge when it comes to hair and excellent care while doing my daughters braids! Ms. Nadine is the best, love her professionalism and gentle care while taking care of my tender hair. Please make your appointment if you're looking for knowledgeable hair professionals!
