Great place to adopt, donate pet supplies and/or get medical service for your pets. We have been going here since we moved to Forsyth and always had an amazing experience. Dr. Kascher is awesome and takes care of our cat and dog both. High five all around

Great and easy experience adopting our new family member. Staff was easygoing and very accommodating. We were able to take Julep home the same day we saw her, and she has fit right in.

We had a great experience with Forsyth Humane Society. The staff is very personable and they genuinely care about the animals. There is a fee to adopt, but I feel confident that the funds are used to provide the best care and keep vet costs down. We still utilize the humane society for all of our preventative services.

So friendly and welcoming. By appointment only and one visitor at a time in a certain area for safety of both humans and pets. In one door and out another in little to no time. We were even seen a few minutes before my scheduled time. Great prices. All services updated for 3 years. Knowledgeable staff. They were so patient and kind to my nervous and curious Weimaraner. Happy mom and fur baby! Will like to set a date to see pets available for adoption. Thank you to all the staff. Will definitely keep coming back.

What wonderful people providing such a wonderful service! My kids and I went to visit to see about adopting a cat. They were extremely friendly and generous with their time. We did end up adopting a cat for only $75. That included the Spay, microchip and current vaccinations. I recommend this for being one of your first stops to meet your next potential pet!!

This is the rudest, most unfriendly place I have been to in a long time. Starting from the second I stepped into the office, I was completely ignored by two different women sitting behind the desk, both of them looked at me like I was an absolute idiot when I walked in, like I should know exactly what I should be doing and where I should be going? Then to my next bad experience, the lady from New York comes out and is just beyond rude. I mean, she was interrupting me in the middle of my sentences to Shut me up, wasn’t looking at me, she wasn’t listening to me, she was clearly annoyed with the fact that I was speaking, and very visibly kept trying to get me to stop talking. Not a great person to have greeting customers. Then I saw the vet, a mid to older age heavy woman who was equally as dismissive and rude. I couldn’t even get questions out about my cat before she just blurted out whatever she felt like she had to say, which was basically telling me to shut up and buy their products. The male vet tech was one percent better, he engaged in conversation with me, but didn’t shy away from letting it be known that he didn’t want to be in conversation with me. The only person who answered any questions, or even gave me my first smile was the woman in the office I was paying on my way out. And, of course she’s friendly, she’s the one taking my money from me. And as I’m sitting in her office, I’m listening to the people behind the counter (a couple white women) talk about touching/wanting to touch a black woman’s hair and it was just bizarre. This whole visit felt like a fever dream. Also prepare for hidden fees!! I was told a $90 spay, I’m walking out with a paper that’s telling me $200. And these things aren’t things I can elect to take off, like the cone and the pain medication my cat will need to post surgery. Include that in your price when you are quoting people. I get that they are trying to be a fast affordable vet clinic, but that is just not the way you treat people. Especially if you are working with animals and their owners, I expect you to be friendly. Maybe I’m expecting too much. They got that second star only because they did in fact give my cat her shots and they were very quick about it. I wish I was told it will be the same price to take her to our home vet, I would have spared myself this awful, weird, uncomfortable experience.Edited to add:I will reach out but I’m seeing this on Christmas Day so in case I forget, please feel free to reach out to me as well. I was most likely under the name Lucie Krieger, my cat was Mazikeen.I understand the cone and the pain medication are TECHNICALLY able to be taken off, my point was it is not ethical to not provide my animal with a cone or pain medication so to me, it does not feel like I was able to remove those things because what person in their right mind would elect to get their animal surgery and then not follow up with pain medication at home!? That should have been disclosed when I made the appointment so I didn’t feel blindsided. It’s advertised everywhere as a “$90 spay” so I guess you got me on the technicalities considering the SPAY ONLY is $90.

We adopted our wonderful dog, Kenny, from the Humane Society. It took several visits for our son to pick the dog he wanted. We were never pressured to choose one. We were allowed to play with multiple dogs until our son felt that connection with Kenny. The staff has been completely supportive before, during, and after getting Kenny. We couldn't be happier with our dog or the staff at the Humane Society.

My recent visit to the Humane Society of Forsyth County on 11/22/2023 left me thoroughly impressed with both the cleanliness of the facility and the exceptional friendliness of the employees. From the moment I stepped through the doors, it was evident that this place holds a deep commitment to providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for animals and visitors alike.Firstly, the cleanliness of the facility was remarkable. The entire space exuded a sense of freshness and tidiness. The well-maintained enclosures in the dog building and immaculate common areas spoke volumes about the staff's dedication to ensuring a hygienic and pleasant atmosphere. There was no odor, and the two staff members working in the dog building, Randall and Josephine, were at the top of their game, it was evident that cleanliness was not just a routine but a reflection of their utmost care for the animals and visitors who come through their doors. However, what truly set this visit apart was the outstanding friendliness of all of the employees. Every staff member I encountered wore a genuine smile and exuded a passion for their work. Their warmth and eagerness to assist created an inviting and reassuring atmosphere. Their knowledge about the animals, coupled with their willingness to answer questions and provide guidance, showcased not just professionalism but a true love for their job.Beyond their duties, the employees went above and beyond to ensure every visitor felt valued and comfortable. Their dedication to the animals and their commitment to finding them loving homes was truly heartwarming.Overall, my visit to the Humane Society of Forsyth County was exceptional. The combination of a spotless facility and the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable employees made it an unforgettable experience. It's evident that this organization goes beyond the call of duty, creating a haven for animals and a supportive environment for those seeking to adopt or help in any way they can. I left feeling inspired by their dedication and motivated to support such a remarkable cause.

I visited the Humane Society of Forsyth County's low-cost vaccine clinic yesterday and was blown away by the exceptional service and care I received. When I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism, immediately putting me and my puppies at ease. Their dedication to animal welfare was evident in every aspect of the clinic. The efficiency of the clinic was remarkable. Despite the number of pet owners present, a staff member greeted you at your vehicle to get you checked in, ensuring minimal wait times while still allowing the vet time to provide thorough care to each animal. Dr Kascher was not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. She took the time to address all my concerns and provided valuable advice on maintaining my pet's health. While chatting with one of the staff members at the front desk, I also found out that Dr. Kascher volunteers her time on Friday and Saturday mornings. The affordability of the services offered was a true blessing. As a pet owner on a budget, having access to high-quality vaccines and preventive care at such reasonable prices is invaluable.Dr Kascher is also committed to educating pet owners about their pets. She offered me informative materials on food trials for allergies and took the time to explain the importance of various vaccinations and preventive measures, which allowed me to make informed decisions about my pets' health. My experience at the Humane Society's low-cost vaccine clinic was exceptional. The combination of quality service, affordability, and dedication to animal welfare earns them a well-deserved five-star rating. I'm immensely grateful for their outstanding work and will undoubtedly be returning for my future pet care needs.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Low-Cost Wellness Clinic at the Humane Society of Forsyth County, and I can't express enough how satisfied I am with the care and service provided. The Humane Society is upfront about not being a full-service vet, but their Low-Cost Wellness Clinic is an absolute gem for pet owners looking for affordable, quality care. The clinic staff were not only professional and knowledgeable but also showed genuine compassion and dedication to the well-being of my furry friend. From vaccinations to basic check-ups, the clinic offers a range of essential services at prices that won't break the bank. This was a game-changer for me, especially when it comes to managing the routine health of my pets. The facility was clean, well-organized, and the appointment process was efficient. The Humane Society's dedication to making pet care accessible to all is truly commendable, and I can't thank them enough for their exceptional work. If you're seeking cost-effective and caring pet healthcare, I highly recommend the Low Cost Wellness Clinic at the Humane Society of Forsyth County. They've certainly earned my five-star rating!
