Stylist ruined my hair by over processing and using low quality extensions. When I called the salon to discuss options I was told the stylist, Victoria Mengoni, only rents a chair and doesn’t work for the salon. Terrible resolution and a total cop out. $750 nightmare.

This is a review for hair extensions purchased from and installed by Victoria Mengoni at Good Looks Hair Studio. Victoria and the owner of Good Looks Hair Studio have ignored my multiple attempts to ask for help over the last 3 weeks, and I have unfortunately lost $1000+ in this process. My experience with Victoria was nothing but a headache from beginning to end. We first met for an extensions color matching in which I asked Victoria to color match my existing hair. There was absolutely no discussion of color service during this appointment. After Victoria chose the appropriate color to match my hair, she "accidentally" ordered the extensions on her own credit card and asked that I Zelle or Venmo her immediately to cover the cost of $470 for one pack of hand-tied extensions. Unfortunately this prevented me from seeing the actual price or product that Victoria was ordering-- if I had it would have saved me a huge headache. We scheduled the install appointment for 1/19, which Victoria cancelled the day before when she realized she had the wrong hair extensions. At first she blamed the company for sending the wrong product, but ultimately admitted that she was actually the one that had made the mistake. I told her it was no big deal and we rebooked the install appointment for one week later on 1/26. While installing the extensions on 1/26, Victoria immediately noticed that the extensions were not a correct color match for my hair. She asked if I had changed my hair color, and said that my hair was "more blonde" during my consultation three weeks before. Instead of admitting that the color was mismatched, Victoria's solution was for me to spend more money and change the color of my existing hair to make the extensions blend. Victoria then told me that she didn't have time to do that until the first week of April. This meant I would have to wait 9 weeks to have the extensions correctly blended. This appointment cost me $350, which Victoria again requested I Venmo or Zelle. Shortly after leaving the salon I reached out to Victoria again and politely told her that I was unhappy with the color of the extensions, and that they did not blend with my natural hair. I asked if we could work something out to fix the issue sooner. She responded by telling me that we would ultimately need to wait until she could do a full balayage. After spending $820, I would expect have expected Victoria to prioritize an appointment to correct my hair. A few hours after reaching out to Victoria, I received a notification that she had cancelled our future appointment on March 30th with no explanation. This was further indication that she was unwilling to help fix my hair. I saw a different stylist on 1/29 for a color correction. Unfortunately during the color correction she noticed that the extensions were installed incorrectly and after having them in for only 3 days, I already had blisters on my scalp because they were installed so tightly. The stylist had to remove the extensions and reinstall them correctly. I spent an additional several hundred dollars at this appointment to have the color and installation of the extensions fixed. Unfortunately on February 2/16, just 3 short weeks after my installation appointment, the extensions that I purchased from Victoria began unraveling. After having extensions on and off for approximately 10 years, I have never had hair unravel, and unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to stop it. As Victoria stated during our initial appointment, these extensions should last 2+ years, but the extensions that I purchased from her only lasted 3 weeks. My attempts to contact Victoria have been met with silence. I reached out to the owner of the salon who confirmed receipt of my email and said she would get back to me, but never did. This salon might be okay for an inexpensive hair cut or simple color, but think twice before choosing Good Looks or Victoria Mengoni for any high dollar service.

I absolutely love this hair studio! The staff are all super friendly and welcoming! I go to Victoria and she is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend 10/10!!!

I love this place! Very friendly, welcoming, and open atmosphere. I feel free to come as I am, messy hair and all, and leave feeling beautiful and refreshed. Victoria is my hairdresser and she does a great job executing exactly what I want for my hair! I’m a super happy client. :)

I went here with my own dye to get my hair colored purple. Ended up pink, which was cool with me since I brought the dye in; not upset about that part.The issue is, Victoria bleached my roots too long and fried my hair so it will no longer take any color! She also didn't completely saturate my hair with the color, she lightly brushed the demi dye on. This left half my hair blonde and uneven. What an awful application. I could care less that it's pink, but it is uneven and damaged so I can't even fix it.I could tell on her face that she knew she could have done better but she didn't say anything... What killed me is she didn't offer to fix it or ask me to come back!!!!Service: Hairstyling

I've been away from home in Georgia for 7 yrs now, I've allowed a stylist to trim my bangs and color one time since I've lived here. I used to be soo worried bout my hair, looks n all, not now, but it's ok. Nobody could ever(l mean never)please me but Tammy! Bless her heart, she's the best; as a stylist, friend, and a Christian who runs her hair salon as such.
