Returned a shoe that I bought online and was give a $20 off coupon, so I decided to look around. Found a shoe I wanted to try on, but the employees were so terrible they basically avoided me for 20 mins with a shoe in my hand. I finally just dropped the shoe and walked out, because it was obvious they were hiding in the back not wanting to work. Pretty bad when you give up 20 free dollars because the customer service is so bad.

The associates I rencountered at this store are a dream! I was unfamiliar with the area as we were in Cummings, GA for a soccer tournament. We forgot a few items, so I went online to buy what we needed. Unfortunately, I selected the wrong store from my phone using the store locator option. Needless to say, the items were NOT there when I arrived to pick up my order. A wonderful associate went above and beyond to help me. He asked a young lady to check storage for one of the items. To my surprise she did without complaint and brought out several options for me to consider. Then, the young man went to the sales floor and found the other items I needed, offered to call the other store to cancel that pick up order all so I wouldn’t have to drive out of my way in an unfamiliar area. I have NEVER received this kind of service at any sporting goods store on my end of town! Unfortunately, I did not get the representatives’ names. However, their kindness, compassion, and above-and-beyond customer care is not forgotten.

Very well put together store but as soon as I walked in a tall male worker (looked like a manager) decided to make a very rude comment about my dinner valentines outfit. He says “ Very overdressed and confusingly dressed”. I don’t know know why he felt that was necessarily to degrade a teenage girl but ok. Wont be returning.

Years ago, when they caved to political pressure and stopped selling guns and ammo, I took them out of my consideration set and haven't looked back. My wife recently bought some baseball pants there online (unbeknownst to me) that were too small, and I took them back to ths store. The in-store return of an online purchase was easy, and refunded to my credit card, which was a big plus. Then they gave me a coupon for $20 off if I spend $100 in the next three hours. I thought I'd give it a try. After about 45 minutes in the store, it's a lot like Academy but with a smaller selection in all departments and no firearms, archery, or ammunition. It literally has a smaller selection in every department when compared to Academy and is a few bucks more expensive. Staff were moderately helpful. I should have stuck with my original thought process, I won't be going back.

Shouldn’t be hard to have a staff member go through the shoe inventory and order the sizes you don’t have in stock! This is why people order online because they don’t have to waste the time and gas to go to places like this to say they don’t have your size!

Don't waste time using their ship from store, it's quite awful. I ordered two sets of dumbbell weights (30s and 45s) and was given a delivery date of Monday for all items from them. One would assume that both pair would be sent at the same time, but no, Fedex shows up with one 30 and one 45, in smashed up boxes and takes off. The other 30 arrived on Tuesday and the last 45 is stuck somewhere in limbo at the Fedex facility. It could be this is just a Fedex screw up (Hence the 2 stars instead of 1), but at the same time why on Earth would you ship 4 items one at a time instead of putting the pairs together. I order heavy weight/gym equipment from Amazon all of the time and it arrives when specified with the packaging still intact so I'm not sure why a local store can't accomplish this. I've had problems with their ship from store before, but this one took the cake.
