Dr. McGruder is amazing! We have been taking our animals to see him for 20 years. We recently started raising some chickens and he has been able to help with them too!

First and foremost, I have been a "patient uber" for over 30 years. I've had horses, dogs, cats, ferrets and whatever else is in-between seen by doctors. In the past, the service has been wonderful. Sick dog... bring it in! Chicken not acting right? Bring it in! Dog ripped it's dew claw... yikes we are waiting for you! Now let's talk about this year, specifically the last 3 months. I've called with a sick bird looking for a quick appt- "see you in a week, nothing earlier"... he died before his appointment. Had a dog spayed by Crestview and she began rectally bleeding and throwing up. I call and am told "ALL our diagnostic machines have crashed, you need to find an emergency vet"- this was at 6pm, they close at 7:45. She would've died if I didn't take her to the emergency vet during Crestviews business hours. 5 stars for previous years -3 stars for these last 2 months. I am very disappointed how this vet business has evolved, and now, after 30+ years, I'll have to find a new vet.

Saw Dr. Yu to do a senior kitty (12 yrs old) wellness exam and bloodwork. She is very nice, easy to talk to, and she listens. She asks questions and isn't judgmental. It was a good visit

I brought my new shelter dog in for an infection. My dog who was terrified, struggled getting into my car. As a result I was exactly 9 minutes late. After checking me in, providing her paperwork, and waiting for about 5 minutes, I was told they wouldn't see her because I was late and that if I wanted to be seen, I would be charged and would need to wait around. It was horrifying to be told my sick rescue dog couldn't be seen because of an arbitrary rule- 9 MINUTES LATE. No humanity from the staff. I have shared with a few neighbors who said they had similar experiences. My recommendation- go somewhere where caring for animals means something.

Dr. McGruder has treated our pets for years and is an excellent Dr. and truly cares for the animals and thier owners. We have used this clinic for many years to treat our pets. However, after the negligence of one of his associates we will NEVER return to Crestview. Due to her stupidity and negligence we were required to pay over $400 for a wild cat. Obviously, they do not listen to warnings nor know to handle a feral cat. After the way the cat was handled and the horrible attitude of the office staff, I wonder if the clinic was sold and Dr. McGruder has retired. So sad to see such a great place lose compassion and become greedy.

⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This place is the best I’ve been to for my fur babies in years! The front desk is always welcoming and efficient. The vet techs are amazing and caring. Veterinarians are professional and do their best to explain everything and call you with follow up all the time too! I can’t say enough about the staff at this place & also the cleanliness with no smells ever. Thank you for doing your jobs and doing it so well by going above and beyond at all times. ❤️

We have always used in home euthanasia but Nala was too sick from her cancer and no one was available. I called Crestview animal hospital who said they would make time for Nala whenever we arrived. They carried our wonderful large Nala from the car to prepare her for euthanasia and then carried her back to her bed in our car….she thought she was going home when she peacefully fell asleep. We could not have parted from our beloved Nala in a more human way. Thank you everyone at Crestwood!

Crestview has been our vet of choice for the past six years. Office staff is efficient in managing appointments and wait times. Techs & vets are caring & competent. Abby the groomer is an artist and takes very good care of our golden doodle. In an emergency (dog vs. car), our dog was seen immediately and the staff was prepared for our arrival waiting at the door w/ a stretcher. Happy ending w/ terrific medical care for our dog. Highly recommend.

Best Animal Hospital I have been to with my dog. These Drs. Are top notch at Crestview Animal Hospital. I drive from Atlanta 25 miles to go to this vet as they keep my 15 year old Golden in top shape. I tried going closer to a few vets in Atlanta but they dropped the ball on my dogs healthcare and were almost double in price. All the vets do a great job and they are open from 6:00am to evening so it is very easy to get seen. If you are not satisfied with where you are going, give them a call! You will not be disappointed.

Great Experience ! I took my 14 year old Golden here for a second opinion after my regular Atlanta vet saw him. I felt the Atlanta vet was getting careless and missing something. it was an easy drive up 400 to Crestview and so worth it. Crestview found that my dog had a thyroid issue plus an eye issue. Both health problems are easily treated but could have gotten out of hand without treatment. The Atlanta vet charged me $850 for his yearly and not at all detailed. Crestview was $269 and Alex is a happy boy with both problems under control.. I am going to continue going to Crestview Animal Hospital because of the excellent treatment I received. The support staff and office staff truly love animals and made my dog Alex feel like a true VIP!
