Knowledgeable employees, plants are healthy and hardy, and their prices are comparable to the big box stores (but quality of plants is so much better). I love to buy my fruit plants (raspberries, blackberries, ect) from there. They sell you a real bush. Not some stick that you hope will grow and fruit in a few years (my husband bought a blueberry bush that was literally a stick from Lowe's .... And it cost twice the price of a real bush from Mullinax ). Their double knockout rose bushes have been going strong in my yard for 18 years. My biggest problem is they are so healthy they grow too big. And, I've never even watered them (except what Mother Nature provides). I don't like plants that require a lot of work. I want to plant them in the ground and admire them. Only high quality plants will allow someone with my attitude towards gardening appear to have a green thumb Thus, as long as I live here, Mullinax is the place for me!

I bought a plant from there and it’s died after a couple of months I asked them if they can replace it , all they offered was a 70 cent discount , never going to buy from them again.

Vast selection of outdoor plants in this huge commercial shrubbery. Found Mullinax by accident when driving to visit friends and stopped in to check it out mainly because my wife shops plants the way most women shop clothes! This is a commercial shrubbery mainly catering (I would assume) to garden designers, landscapers and other business folks, so expect unmade paths, a few pot holes and plenty of mud when it rains. It’s not pitched really at the Home Depot / Pike Nursery shoppers (they don’t have indoor plants for instance), but if you are re-planting your yard and want everything from small shrubs to more mature trees then they have it here. Most important thing though are the prices - very very competitive on price. We’ve bought dozens of plants of various types and sizes and probably saved hundreds of dollars compared to other places. Be prepared to get your hands dirty and ask the guys for help and you can get some really good plants at really good prices.

Went today to see if this place was open to the public! WOW! What a find! I've been driving by for years, assuming it was not open. Finding where u enter the business didn't really hit me till this year. They had a bush I have not been able to find this year. It was super nice and very reasonably priced. They had so many really nice plant choices. Everything looked very healthy. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely add this business to my landscape choices for the future. The only things I did not like is that they charge extra if you use AMEX card. And they really need to improve signage so people know where the entrance is and that they are open to the public.

Just went Tuesday and purchased 2 trees. Some confusion where the trees were located and yes a lot of walking in muddy areas. We finally found the trees with help. Fair pricing and they were delivered the same day. Friendly Assistance at the nursery and delivery guys were great also. Will be back. Recommend.
