Honesty and integrity make all the difference in running a business. That would be First Mate marine. They no longer do repairs and are now strictly boat storage. i've known them as a customer for years. You will not find a finer person to know or do business with than Bobby the proprietor.

This is a great place to store your toys. It's not as expensive as other places around the lake. Bobby is always ready and willing to help you out if he can.

Bobby is great and an honest man. Back when I was a boat owner, 1st Mate Marine was my all-in-one savior: service, repair, storage, and towing. I could not have found a harder-working and more dedicated business owner than Bobby. He stands behind his work so much that after I had a repair made, he and I took an afternoon off to cruise on my boat. Not only did Bobby show me around Lake Lanier (I was new to Lake Lanier), he also taught be some important boating lessons that have helped when I occasionally rent a boat. One of the lessons he taught me allowed me to help my young son overcome his fear of driving fast across choppy water. (Thanks Bobby) If you are looking for a boat service/repair business, don't judge a book by its cover. If I ever buy another boat, Bobby and his team will have my business.
