We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful lights , only thing missing was Christmas music playing while looking at lights. Will be returning next year!

We spent the day at the park geocaching. The Rangers were very helpful with my questions. Our dogs loved sniffing on the many trails. Looks like a good place to camp.

A H Stephens is a beautiful park. We brought horses and used the stalls. The stalls are generously sized. The bathhouses are clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and the horse trails are well marked.

A clean well-kept park. My main objection is that every night there is super loud rap music being played, I guess outside the park? The park is surrounded by a very run down, poor community, and the bass really resonates throughout the campground, making it difficult to relax and or sleep if you are in a pop-up or a tent. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay, friendly people and super quiet campers. Nice big sites. Deer in the park.Restrooms: Clean and well kept.

We went for a wedding, It was an outdoor wedding, the grounds were beautiful, it has a large concrete fire pit. The indoor pavilion was very spacious, my only complaint is the bathroom signs say handicap accessible but it was really hard to get in and out of the two doors (the hallway going into the bathroom and the other door leading back inside).Restrooms: I wouldn't say getting in and out of the bathroom was handicap accessible.

While on a road trip, we stopped here to give the kids a chance to get some energy out. The park was beautiful and an absolute delight! We are considering coming back for a camping trip in the near future.Playground: Playground was great for the kids! There was a Zipline which kept them entertained for quite some time.

This was my first visit to the site. The park is beautiful as well as beautifully maintained! There were fun activities for the kids, such as paddle boats and a playground area both conveniently located adjacent to the pavilion where my family held our party. I hope we get this place again for next year's summer event!!

We were planning on camping overnight while traveling thru the area. However, main campsite area was closed completely to renovations. The equestrian campground site was not very appealing. Only had one Rv in the campground and it looked like maybe a maintenance host. We drove in the park and right back out.

Its quiet and sleepy. The regular campground is closed for renovations, but the equestrian campground is open. The facilities and grounds are well kept, and it's always nice being around horses.Dog-friendliness: Great trails for walking and running with your dog.

Fantastic group camp. The cabins all have power, but it’s older wiring so you need to be careful about not overloading the draw. The kitchen is a good size with two large commercial stoves/ovens, a walk in freezer, a refrigerator, a pantry, a commercial refrigerator, serving station, and Hobart dishwasher. They have a large stock of dishes, silverware, cups, pots, pans, colanders, etc. I do recommend bringing your own cooking knives but other utensils are also available.Bathrooms… the one near the dining/kitchen building are fantastic. The area restrooms are old, small, and prone to issues if people flush a lot of tissue or feminine products. The showers have good water pressure in area three and near the kitchen/dining.Bring your own toilet paper.Don’t ring the bell unless there’s an emergency.Enjoy the beautiful, maintained, and peaceful grounds! The morning view of the lake in area four is fabulous.Of all the group camps in the state that I have been to (which is a good chunk of them) this is my favorite site.

I enjoyed the mini zip line and the playground. I also enjoyed looking at the lake. They also have paddleboats, but I did not try one. If you have a horse, it seems like this would be a good place to ride it.One of my negatives about this place is the roads inside the park. There was a one lane windy road that lead to the smaller lake that needed repairs and needed to be wider if two cars are expected to drive on it heading in opposite directions. There was not much grass to pull over in, at some points it was just ditch. Thankfully a car did not head toward us, but it would have been horrible if it had.Repair the road and this place could be much better.Playground: There is a playground area. One for older kids below 12 and the other is for younger kids, I think between 2 and 5.There is also a zip line and a basket ball goal.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed on 6 foot leashes.Picnic area: They have several picnic pavilions. There were not many places to picnic in the grass though. At least not by either of the lakes.

Beautiful , peaceful setting . Paddleboats on the pond and close to historical sites. Nice walk/hike trails. Nice Playground , clean bath house. Clean RV sites. . We were here in winter and only stayed a couple of days. Honor senior or military discounts. If we're in the area I would stay again. Family friendly. I recommend this park .
