Yesterday we were visiting Covington (aka Mystic Fall) and this was one of my searches, the famous Black Jacket of course Bitten by Damon (always?) The experience in the store 10/10 She was super nice to us, we talked for a little while, looking for options For my friends too, if you are looking for tshirts and Jackets this is one of your stops❤️

I really don't understand these negative reviews! We were in town for my husband's job and I got the absolute cutest bitten sweater. I love boutique shopping and felt the prices were super fair! The owner was so sweet and I enjoyed chatting with her for a long time. We will definitely be back and I will be highlighting this adorable business on my travel agent channels.

I love Shelvie Jean so much! I have always left happy and confident. Today I went and had a great shopping experience with the sales associate, Katherine! It’s rare to find workers who enjoy their job and do it well but she surely does! In previous visits I have gotten to speak with the owner who is also very kind! Great place to give your business.

The owner called my sister fat and then threw a bowl of cockroaches at me. The only enjoyable part was the rats singing in the corner of the store.

the owner is honestly one of the rudest people I have ever met to own a business and treat customers the way she does. my cousin was wearing her crocs today when we went in and as soon as we walked in she made a comment “what are you wearing, your dads shoes, they look huge?” I’m sorry but if you run a business thats not how you treat your customers. I honestly will NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

I don’t really understand all the negative reviews, the owner was super sweet to me and my husband who were down in Mystic Falls for TVD out from Maryland. The clothes and bag I got were all extremely cute. The prices weren’t bad for this type of boutique. And the owner stood there having a nice conversation with us for over 30 minutes, I recommend visiting.

I was just in the store, excited about a deal on a cute sweater! I looked at the price after I paid and realized it rang up $10 more than the tag said. The kind and helpful sales associate called the owner to ask for help adjusting the price, I could hear the owner over the phone rudely saying that the price on the tag was from a different sale and they wouldn’t honor the price on the tag, even though all the sweaters reflected the same price. (About 5 of them) this caused the owner to miss out on my purchase and my sister’s purchase as she didn’t want to give money to this store after a lack of integrity was clearly displayed. I feel bad for the associate working as she was doing her best to help and was so apologetic. Not sad to skip out on this purchase. Don’t have a store if you don’t want to stand behind good business standards.Edited to add - I didn’t ask for more discounts than was advertised - I’m not a j*** and will not be made a liar. The shirt was marked at $32 and was supposed to be half off of that, the shirt rang up at $42 and I simply corrected the mistake on the receipt and was denied. The owner not know how to be a good owner and have integrity. Too bad. The other reviews speak for themselves

I was coming here to write a review and then saw all the other reviews and realized I’m not alone in feeling pretty gross after leaving here. This owner was so rude to my teenager. Told my kid to pick out a pair of earrings and she’ll give them to her for her birthday when she comes up to purchase something. My daughter was purchasing a key ring. She then decided to try on a pair of jeans. When my daughter decided to not get the jeans the owner told her she couldn’t have her birthday present anymore lol. Who does that?! The jeans were looked at after she offered the present. Super unprofessional and mean to make a little girl look for a pair of earrings for her birthday and then deny them because you didn’t get your way.We will not shop here again.

I would like to say that the experience here was not good at all. If you are allowed to try on clothing or other items, you should be allowed to return them. I bought a pair of boots here, wore them for about 15-20 mins. They started to hurt my feet and I couldn't wear them. Went back the next day, to see if I could get an exchange or store credit, like it says on the receipt, and the lady pointed out the one small sign at the register that says no returns. She was rude and not helpful at all. Basically wasted my money on a pair of shoes that I can't wear. Will not be shopping here anymore.
