7215 Industrial Blvd, CovingtonI want to give the highest recommendation for Dr. Ross. She is the BEST vet. When I moved to Newton county in 2012, I tried another vet first before finding her. My dog had severe anxiety about going to the vet after a traumatic event as a puppy at a previous vet. Dr Ross was so compassionate and reassuring to my dog. Even though she still felt nervous, she was so much calmer with Dr Ross than all of her previous vets ( she had had multiple since we moved multiple times). She also did great with my outdoor cat. My family moved and I’m so sad to have to find a new vet. If you need a vet in Newton County, choose Dr. Ross. She is deeply kind and her love for animals shines through so clearly.

While Dr. Shiver had not seen Duke before, he and his entire staff were just amazing to me and treated Duke so gently. They were so patient with us, and I’d recommend him and his practice for all your fur-babies needs. I know that when the time comes for rescuing another fur-baby, I’ll definitely be using Animal Medical of Covington.

5274 GA-20, CovingtonI started using Oak Hill about a year ago when I adopted a stray that I found (Freyja) Since then I gradually moved my other 2 dogs there as well. This is Juliette pictured here. I absolutely love the staff. They're always very patient and listen but they don't sugar coat things either. Today was Juliettes intake. She has some vet trauma since she was spayed and she gets a little growly with the vet techs. They took their time getting to know her, giving her treats, and she warmed up to them quickly. Even told me I can bring her for happy visits sometimes just to say hi and get her used to the setting without it being scary. I just really appreciate their care. Highly recommend them ?

The individual I spoke to didn’t provide their name and sounded extremely tired and just really wasn’t that helpful. I asked about grooming services and she said they don’t do that yet you can see that they have it listed on their website. And then she said that they could do nail clipping but it would be $100, 25 for the nail clipping and $75 for the service. It’s really sad that you just can’t find service for cats. But I want to share this, so maybe they could correct their website and be a little bit more detailed when it comes to your statement of grooming services

1177 Reynolds St SW, CovingtonIt's a small shop with a few comfortable places to sit, chat,study, and enjoy your coffee. I had a basic hot vanilla latte, $7, and it was quite good (not too sweet). They were roasting beans while I sat and studied. Smelled great. I didn't have a chance to order anything else as it was close to closing time. I hope I have a chance to come back. Would recommend.
