Drove all the way down on a Saturday during hours when they are clearly posted open. Waited almost 45 mins to make it to drive thru after discovering the inside is not open. I’m then told they cannot cash non customer checks through the drive thru. Tell me the difference. It’s lit up like a Christmas tree in that drive thru with cameras, I’m in a car with a plate, I have 2 forms of ID WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE? I’m sure there is a non customer check cashing fee that y’all charge which in itself is a SCAM. Absolutely stupid and unreasonable that it would say you’re open, I wait in a line for 45 mins and then get told that you can’t do an ordinary, every day bank transaction. I hope it goes under. On Monday I’m lighting up whatever manager I get so be ready.

Do Not Do Business with This Bank. The Loan Officers are incompetent, dangerous and lazy. They don't understand contracts and lose documents; and then expect you to correct their errors and determine what they are, and should be, doing. Very dissatisfied with the lack of qualified and knowledgeable loan officers; also, they are never available and do not return phone calls. Only by taking off work and waiting to speak with someone, can you get any level of communication. Do Not Do Business with Newton Federal Bank. It's impossible for me to understand how they've been doing business all these years.

Really nice people. Not the greatest bank If you are in need of expediency and convenience. I’m sure if you’re a local small business it’s perfect, but I no longer in GA so it’s a No for me. However, they are really really nice people. ??♂️

I have debated leaving this review however I feel it’s the only way it will change anything. I sold my house, so I changed my address with the bank. My debit card would no longer work when I was asked to provide my zip. I spent a lot of time on the phone with customer service representatives… from Newton federal, from the card companies I needed to pay, (again I finally realized my card was going through the rest of the time, except for when asked for my zip code for the card). I tried giving the card company the new and old zip. None worked. I had to drive to the place and pay my bill. Now, numerous times I called my bank and asked them to confirm with multiple representatives and had the call logs to prove it, are you sure my zip is correct?? Repeating my zip. This has to be a zip code issue. I was assured it was not, and it was nothing on their end after so many lengthy phone calls. Well, my verification of address had finally made it to my new address. And the zip was wrong:.. I go into the bank, I have the proof and explain how this has taken so much of my time and it’s the worst “I’m sorry “ from the teller. The teller tells me she is correcting my zip in multiple places it was not changed. Thank god I asked for a manager because after explaining everything to her and telling her that not one but multiple (like 5 )ppl at her bank were unable to help me, and lied probably because they do not know how to do their job, she caught that my correct zip was still not entered where it needed to be changed. She said she would look into addressing what happened to me but I’m just not sure so I’m Leaving this review in case this happens to you.

All but Nancy mask are terrible. Ib oct went to report checks stolen and aches being done. Had to switch to a new account. Josie is a joke. Never ordered new checks, had to go back in and the teller expedited them. Two months later nothing resolved. Took another $510. All stolen money

Best bank I have ever had, office, drive though may be slow. But it's done right and thats all that matters to me. Love this place would recommend to all of Newton country.

I've not had any issues with the service itself but it's getting harder and harder to do physical business with them. They are slowly closing all their branches and the only branch you still can get into was locked the one time I tried to go in which was right in the middle of their business hours.

got a commercial loan with this bank and after a year and no missing a payment never late I end up showing the loan on my credit report. although it was clear we want it to be bussiness

Just bought a car and the loan is through this bank. When I received the paperwork I tried to set up an account to where I could pay online. They charge fees for online pay! Wow! What a ripoff! I’ll be going with another bank ASAP

Looking for a new bank. Impossible to find a simple customer service person to help us. Walked around the whole Dang place ....every door was locked and they were supposedly open. Three locked doors . Three strikes Your Out.
