Everyone in this office is friendly and personable. Nobody "enjoys" going to the dentist but the experience was not bad at all. Dental work can be expensive anywhere you go, but I was given a break down and options. They were great here.

After I got passed the unnecessary charges I was charged when I first went there...the service was great. I am a senior and live on a fixed income. The dentist and hygenist was EXCELLENT! The front office handled my previous concerns professionally. Tip: please get a pre-authorization from your insurance company BEFORE services so you will know exactly what you are being charged for?. PS: No pain

I'm almost in tears(the good kind) from such a great experience with the Aspen Dental team. They've taken good care of me the moment I started seeing them. Dental care can be intimidating if you're not sure what's going to happen or what are your options in achieving the best outcome for you individually. The staff and entire team of professionals with their state-of-the-art technology really came through for me. Thank you all!?

Called March and they pulled 5 lower teeth they billed ins. Company 2100.00 they signed me up for a credit Company and they didn't say it was a credit card and they ran it through the same day it now shows 75% of my cards are used and before it was 16% well score drops and 8 months later they have received 4100.00 so they are paid in full and I still have no teeth everytime I go back it's for a new mold. We have to let gums shrink okay I get that .I call 5 different dentist and get 2 different answers and not a one says come back 8 months later. I've just left there and yes sir we will make a new impression today and they should be ready in 6 to 8 weeks. This place is a JOKE STAY AWAY !!! Tomorrow I start calling everyone I can to help get my credit card handled and insurance company informed even insurance commissioner .They have been paid and only service was pulling 5 teeth What a joke

Friendly and skilled. I don't have dental work very often and was worried this was going to hurt - a cavity filled. It went well thanks to Hanna and Dr. Smith. It didn't hurt except for little pinch with the shots to numb gum - after that easy.

This place was a mess from the start. If you want lazy service, unknowledgeable employees, and frustration; you've come to the right place! My wife WAS looking for a closer, more convenient dentist since moving back to GA recently. This place isn't it!!!She had tooth pain and was able to get an appointment here within days, that's great... but that's the ONLY good thing from our experience (but don't worry, these people are only drilling and working on your teeth, I'm sure laziness is fine with stuff like this). They sent my wife the instructions for completing the new patient information. Surprise, the instructions were incorrect, so she called the office for assistance, which was no help, they told her no one was familiar with their own website... how that makes sense is beyond me.She shows up to the appointment and gets taken back for X-rays where immediately following the X-rays she was told the front desk couldn't find her insurance information. They then tell her she needs pay $200+ for the appointment (even though their office door says free X-rays and exams, not that she needed it since she has insurance). Knowing she's insured, my wife calls me where we try to troubleshoot with the receptionist. We told the receptionist I'm employed out of state and they likely needed to check again and tell that to the insurance. The receptionist wouldn't check again and said they couldn't find anything and now it's on us. So my wife and I spend the next 30 minutes doing the receptionist's job and confirm she's insured through the automated system but because it was still early on the west coast, there were no representatives working in the office yet. We provided this information to the receptionist who was too lazy to call and confirm the insurance through the surprisingly easy automated system and said we needed to reschedule to come back a different day (don't worry, my wife is still only in pain). My wife declined rescheduling a different appointment with this incompetent business and left the office. So we called the other dentist who is over an hour away that we used over 10 years ago when we lived in GA the first time and they have scheduled her for tomorrow and have already confirmed the insurance and have no issues, but I should add, they are not lazy and they know how to use their systems.I'm sure Aspen will respond with their broadbased reply of 'thank you for feedback, we'll take it into consideration'. But that seems unlikely from the other reviews I've seen.Good luck with this place! Proceed at your own risk.

I had a tooth I thought was chipped. After a review I was told I needed a root canal and given a referral. Although I left without having the issue resolved, I appreciate the staff’s professionalism and attention to detail. I would rather be told to go somewhere else than have unnecessary procedures performed. They were great!

This location is very unprofessional. The office manager who is in charge with the Money portion of explaining it to me was confusing. They continue tried to make me pay additional money and offer more unnecessary treatments. It took over 6 months for me to complete my dental care.I was often upset and crying while in pain. They NEVER BILLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY And They OVER CHARGE MeAND NOW THEY OWE ME OVER.3.500.

I’ve been waiting on a refund ($444) for work not performed for two months. I’ve called several times and requested a refund in person. Nothing. I’m not sure what kind of scam they’re running but i will be filing a BBB complaint. In addition, they have not provided me with a receipt for any services since March. No paper receipt, no email receipt. They claim their system has been down. Seems odd for such a large company. Do not pay these people in advance. Use at your own risk.

They only care about money. Don't explain anything to you and I had an extreme emergency and I understand people have to take lunch but at least do what you can to help another human if they're in extreme pain. Would not recommend.

Love this Aspen Dental location (Covington). I had been trying for weeks to get an appointment to CONTINUE my dental work at the Conyers location, only for them to continuously ignore my calls. The last straw was when I spoke to the office manager at Conyers, and he promised that he would (personally) call me back before the close of business one day to get an appointment…and he never did. But I’m SO glad he didn’t, because I LOVE the team at Covington. Dr Irby’s amazing, and I thank God for Jamie at the front, and the hygienist too. They’re all knowledgeable and friendly. Even the front desk and the x-ray young ladies were awesome. ?

I don't even know the words to express my gratitude to this place. I say place because everyone in this place was amazing. I came in with the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. I'm 40 with 2 kids, lapband surgery, broken nose, carpal surgery, sciatica, etc. I'm not new to pain. But this pain was death. I'm crying and Dr. Griffith numbed my gums so we could talk. The relief to actually be able to speak and not feel stupid bc the pain was overwhelming my brain was emence. It took awhile but they are worth it. They helped me with finance options and from there they finished extracting 3 teeth. The after effects were way less painful than when I went to Eric Ferrara in Griffin, Ga. One of the teeth that needed to be pulled was his fault. They made sure I was feeling no pain. And were quick and efficient getting them out. Thank you to every single staff member there. It was a relief to know that they were so nice and amazing bedside manner. I'll see you guys next month.

Run! This place is worse than some used car dealers who offer their own financing. You are pressured to have work they deem necessary for exorbitant prices. People normally go to a dentist when they are experiencing some type of discomfort and Aspen takes full advantage of that. I went with a tooth ache and a root canal was suggested, when all was said and done, my out-of-pocket cost so far is $4,173.00, $3,050.00 for a deep cleaning that I didn't need my gums and teeth were fine except for the one I had cracked and needed the root canal for. $1,123.00 for a root canal and they want to charge me another $1,400 for a crown and a balance of $295 was supposedly carried over. They get you when you are most vulnerable, it seems that it is more about the money than the patient. This is my experience with this office: I went to the Covington office with a toothache, and it was suggested I get a root canal (molar 31) and after spending over an hour there getting x-rays and agreeing to having my teeth cleaned. Yes, it was suggested I get my teeth cleaned when I go in for a toothache, I even mentioned that with my tooth being sensitive to heat and cold I didn't think I could deal with it. They gave me shots in the gum, lip and jaw to numb me and proceeded to clean. After the cleaning they schedule the root canal for two weeks later. They recommend a slew of things (Clear Aligners to straighten my teeth and of course a cap) and even have a chart showing how the procedures can be financed since their prices are huge, over $13K for everything they suggested being done and they don't take my insurance. I paid them $3050 for the deep cleaning (that I don't think I needed). After a few days I called them and told them I would just have the tooth extracted because I was in too much pain to wait for the appointment and I was eating with my front teeth, miraculously I was told that I could have the root canal (2 days later) on Wednesday 3/1 because the doctor who performs the procedure would be there then. I had previously been told that he was already booked up. The fee for the procedure would be an additional $1,123.00 to be paid to the doctor before the procedure. I am already out $4,173.00 and they are telling me I owe an additional $1,700 for the crown to go over the teeth that the root canal was done on. Btw the temporary crown that they put on after the root canal came out three days after it was put on.4/21/2023 UPDATEAfter speaking with Michelle a representative of the corporate office she proved true to her word and helped me work out a resolution. It's a shame that a representative from corporate had to become involved but at least they know that the Covington office has some issues. I would still advise everyone to stay away from this office. I am changing my 1 star rating to a 3 star only because Michelle worked diligently to try and rectify my situation. Thank you Michelle.
