USE TO BE…..the absolute, bar none…BEST credit union, banking experience ANYWHERE! Over 26 years with them.The associates that WERE at the windows, presidents desk, by far exceeded ANY service you could find, ANYWHERE! The last year or six the associates IN the office, also very nice to deal with.Whomever lined their pocket, for the emanation to GUCU….made off like a bandit. HORRIBLE transition & “service”.6 weeks I’ve been calling, trying to activate my debit card. They have no record of it. They give me “MAIN Customer Servuce” ?????????????????????What a joke!!!!!!!!! Still no debut card to use.I gut my credit card, with # to call and activate. 11 days I’ve called. One of those days, I was transferred (9) NINE times. So many times. I ended back up with the 2nd original person. STILLsaying “I can’t help, call the MAIN Customer Service number. One of the (supposed) warm bodies they had answering the hunt, repeatedly told me…..”I can’t help you, you need to call Main Customer Service”. I (TRIED) to e plain that’s how I got her. She says. “Let be give you there number”!AGAIN……I told her..that’s the number I called (5x at that point) and got her. I asked, “if I call that number, are YOU going to answer again , after telling me “there’s nothing you can do”? . She replied, “YES”! (4x times she said she’d be the one to answer, but couldn’t help!)!FINALLY, I gut an English speaking ietsin, sayd “it can inky ge activated onnNiv 10th and old must STIP being used by Nov 13th. FINE! I’d do it then.I called today (Nov 10th) the auto teller didn’t recognize my numbers.ther sent me to a live person, who said, “I can’t help you, but call the main customer Service Number and they can help. BUT….we’re closed today, no one will answer.??????????????Why not just shut down NMSCU, instead of someone profiting BIG from a PAYHETIC consolidation???????!

The merger was THE WORST decision you could’ve possibly made. I just want to to talk to someone from down the street that knows me and can help me.I can’t stand the automated robots and RUDENESS of these random ppl I’ve talked too

This credit union has given me the best experiences possible. Because of them, I recommend credit unions to everyone! Paula and Becky have worked with me multiple times and each time they have really taken the time to help me and figure out the best options. NMCU is the perfect example of what a credit union truly stands for.

Absolutely the best customer service I have ever received at a credit union or bank! Excellent rate on a car loan, easy process and Paula was very personable and helpful through the loan process. If there were 10 stars to give, these folks would have them!
