I ran out of gas down the road and walked here and the lady at the register asked where my car was and i said im using a gas jug. She said something along the lines of "we dont got time for that, come back with your car." When i told her i ran out of gas down the road she let me get gas but how is a gas station with no other customers gonna say we dont have time to sell you gas

I went into the Cornelia Murphy's today (2/23/2024) around 5:20-5:30 p.m. or so to get gas and a drink and heard one of the employees (angel I believe, I called back up there to find out her name after I left) being very unprofessional and rude to another employee (Wanda) in front of me and some other customers. Whether or not the other employee did something to make her talk to her like that, it is very disrespectful for not only the other employee but to the paying customers for her to do something like that where they can see and hear. Issues between employees should stay out of the work place. I did not like the service from the Angel girl and I do not think it is right or fair for her to talk to cowrokers like that in front of customers. It is Very disrespectful and it makes the business look bad. I suggest reevaluateing employees or remind them to keep their personal issues out of the ear shot of customers.

Some of the "Bad reviews" I see on here regularly for Murphy express and many other establishments people give a negative review and 1 or 2 stars based entirely off perception. I realize some things like if you see the store dirty, it is dirty, and you report on it through this that's your perception and it is accurate for the circumstance, If you go in a store and come on here and leave a negative comment and low rating because and I quote (From multiple people) " I had a negative experience because the cashier appeared to be having a bad day/Attitude/rushing me" "She didn't say anything rude or do anything 5o me it just FELT like I was being rushed and given an attitude, it's not my fault I have arthritis" things like that are totally your perception your view and your own only honestly i don't feel it deserves a 1 star and negative public review 9f the establishment based off I felt like I was treated poorly even though you yourself said they didn't actually do or say 9r treat you any type of way "8ts just my feeling". This isn't normally a rant I'd go on but in the economy we are in some businesses are struggling certainly not Murphy express but the majority of people look at those stars and that's it and make decisions off that, while small businesses suffer because repeated negative reviews based wholely on someone's opinion or personal perception is like the plague they stack up and businesses close down for no reason other then people's reactions to their own bad day and have to vent it online. Sorry for the novel here I have just been witnessing it first hand with several friends and family members small businesses that have been thrashed off someone's unrelated bad day they need to vent to the world. Idk

I went into this store this morning and the lady already had a customer and was apparently on the phone with the police i could already tell by her conversation . the customer in front of me left a white men and i was next of course I politely told her i was at the pump by the door and she started catching an attitude stating she was talking to the police i said well i have kids I'm picking up she yelled and said i came in her store with an attitude and that today is the reason i don't work that store or let her tell it have i job. lady i believe its angle or something please have a better day and talk to the LORD about it. also she's the new assistant manager i love murphy's and the employees i was an employee myself at one point I'm just not gonna let a worker talk to me anyways because she on the phone with the police and had a bad attitude already. also lady if you see this I have a natural mean mug face.

For the most part I am very pleased with the content and service at this business. I conduct business there on a weekly basis. Yesterday was offensive and made me pause. While searching for 17 cents to complete the transaction with no one else in line the clerk seemed very impatient. I have arthritis and find it difficult to grasp coins. Please take a minute and give people time. The behavior is not necessary

By far the worst customer service I have ever received. Manager allowed people to cut lines, and then proceeded to have an attitude and patronize me ok the way out, been though I did not even respond. I waited 15 min, and regardless of age, or rack it's common courtesy for people to acknowledge other people waiting. Customer completely acted like I wasn't there proceeded to cut. I am 6months pregnant and had to use the restroom. And also there was a huge line behind me already.
