stay Feb 11-13 2024 at your establishment in Cornelia Georgia. Numerous complaints were lodged regarding occupants smoking in this non smoking hotel. Having a medical condition that has to have me utilize equipment to sleep and allergy to smoke made this stay terrible. Management indicated they would initially credit me back 30k points as a result of the smoking for the first nights stay. I was offered to move mid afternoon on my second day to another room that was away from the smoking, but declined due to the fact that management assured me in my room that the situation was handled with their long term residents and that there would be no more smoking in this non smoking hotel. I declined to move as it is difficult for me to pack all my belongings and medical equipment for 14 hours until l would be departing.. During the second night stay the smoking continued and was worse. This was reported again. I was assured that I would be compensated for the second night stay of an additional 30k miles added to my honors account and that Hilton would add them back within 10 days and an apology. I contacted Hampton several times after the stay and was advised that they were working on the issue and would get back to me. On 02/26/24 at approx 2:20pm I was contact by Mike by phone who was very rude and obnoxious with me stating he refused to credit me anything else regarding this stay as I declined their offer to move. When I contacted Hilton directly I was advised the hotel had already contact them to deny any further compensation that was provided. I was told this would be handled and it wasn't. This individual that contacted me was unprofessional, rude, and accusatory. Stating he reviewed CCTV footage and stated my words were incorrect and had zero customer service skills. Being a Hilton hotel Hampton Inn I would have expected much more and am insulted by his candor and lack of skills to rectify this matter to my satisfaction. I am willing to speak to the media about this. In addition I plan to review this stay on as many platforms as I can should this not be resolved to my satisfaction. I would assume this will certainly not fall on deaf ears and hope that other travelers will see how I was treated. I would also like to be contacted in writing regarding the rudeness of your staff member and to assure that other guests going forward will not receive nasty phone calls when they have a serious issue about long term guest smoking in a non smoking hotel.

This hotel was there when we needed a place to sleep in the middle of the night. We were able to book online for a reasonable price and check in was quick and easy. The beds were comfortable and the room as clean. We enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.

We had a great stay here! The location was perfect, it was located near a bunch of stores and restaurants. Visiting a friend in Cornelia and this hotel was right near there. Free breakfast in the morning which had a good amount of options.Rooms: Clean and spacious rooms.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice with a nice selection to choose from .A little pricey considering it's location . Cornelia isn't exactly loaded with things to do.We actually stopped for the night here as we were on a bit of a mountain road trip for our anniversary. Our hotel in Ashville NC was actually cheaper so the price was a but of a shock .Nearby activities: Not alot that we could find but we didn't have alot of time as we were just passing thru amd needed a place to stay for the night .

See below. Reached out to Hilton about the quality of the room and never heard back even though they said they would get back with me in 4 days. That was 3 weeks ago. Poor value for the price.Rooms: Our room was a worn out budget quality room for $200 a night. Disappointing. Reached out to Hilton and never heard back. Wouldn't stay here again.

Almost gave it 5 stars. I'm a retired aircrew member who traveled for over 30 years and stayed in countless hotels.Pros: BIG deal for me is the air conditioning system. This one gets 5 stars. Why? Because the guest can adjust it to just how they like it, heat or cool, at least in my room. Also, big plus is you can leave the fan on which gives just enough white noise for sleep.Bathroom had plenty of counter space and I liked the little cubby holes for the towels. Shower was just the common dual bath tub/shower combo but the water pressure was great and the water wasn't soft. The king bed was nice. The TV had plenty of channels. There were plenty of outlets for chargers and such on the night stands and along the wall.Service was great from check in to service requests and even answering a text question. Parking was easy self park with plenty of spaces. Noise level was pretty good even though a large bunch of high schoolers were there for one night. The location was good, close to many restaurants and shops. Not easily walkable but easily drivable. Could walk if you wanted.Cons: The pull out sofa bed was probably the worse I've ever seen. It was very uneven and uncomfortable. Should have gotten two queens but wanted the extra room when the sofa bed was folded up.Food: First morning was real good. They had these little mini omlettes that were great which is all I had besides fruit because of my diet. There was also a waffle maker and juice, yogurt etc.Second morning was pretty bad, though. The eggs were from powdered eggs and were awful. That's all I tried except for a banana. Others tried the biscuits, sausage and gravy and said it wasn't very good either. So all in all the breakfasts were pretty meh. I did appreciate them leaving fruit out all day.So all in all, not bad. I'd stay there again but NOT get a pull out sofa, get two queens.

A bottom quality Hampton Inn. Dirty and very old and beaten. Everything is scratched up like it was after the apocalypse. Strange smelling room. GM needs to revamp house cleaning and overall maintenance. Even the elevator was super dusty and ripped up! Most Hilton hotels are good or great, 90% of them. I travel full time. I love Hilton and only stay in them. Overall, best hotel group in the world. I've seen maybe a handful worse Hampton than this one but this is in their bottom 10%. Easy fix, deep clean the place and touch up paint. Keep on top of cleaning.

This place was a disaster. The staff was very friendly but the seated of disrepair this building is in is unbelievable to be let open for business. As you can see in the photos there is evidence of constant water damage from the outside and multiple fixes that don’t seem to fix the issue. The guest next door was smoking whole night and as the hotel was fully booked I had no choice but do an early checkout as I didn’t sleep all night and would not be able to handle the smoke for one more night. The front desk and rest of the staff was very friendly but my issue was not solved.

The place seemed nice from outside. Main inside corridor area is nice. Rooms on the other hand were dates, thought I was at a Quality Inn. Like Gram carpet, dark Formica cabinetry, refrigerator was solid block of ice, sorry on towels. Staff was very pleasant. Shower had ample pressure, bed was comfortable. Not enough places to sit and eat, had to go back to room.I'll have to look at other options when I return next time.

Room smelled very musty and moldy. Hilton diamond members and when we asked if we got a snack upon arrival, the response was, 'You can if you want. ' There was no shampoo in the room. Went downstairs to ask for some and we were told it was on the wall in shower. Pretty sure I could not miss that. There was none on shower wall. Ice machine on our floor was broken, location was not great and signage was not in good spot. Would not stay again.

Bad - stepped out of elevator to dirty carpets. Hoped it would get better; but was worse in hallway to room. We covered the carpet with towels (found extras in a plastic bag near our room) like hopscotch from bed to bathroom. What can I say? Broken door lock, broken tissue cover, no cover on outlet, cracked window, loose bathroom fixtures, wobbly tables, the list is long. But the employees were friendly - and condition of hotel is not their fault We slept. Didn’t touch anything but the sheets; but we slept.Rooms: Dirty and in need of repairSafety: Electrical outlet with no cover and broken lock
