I am writing this with tears in my eyes. I have NEVER EVER felt so important to a Dr Office. When I tell you Mel and PA Michael Johnson make me feel like I am their ONLY patient, IT IS TRUE! They dont rush with you, they treat you with the utmost respect! Michael will reply to your messages fast!! WHO DOES THAT? He answers questions, explains lab results, and puts your mind at ease. He truly cares and you can tell how he takes care of you!! I have moved to Stockbridge, but I will NOT move my Dr. He and Mel are GOD SENT to the medical field. With all the bad stuff you hear. They are a breath of fresh air. GOD BLESS ROCKDALE FAMILY PRACTICE!!

This family practice need to be shut down immediately. The staff is very rude, loud, and unprofessional. The physicians do not perform regular physicals on new patients (red flag). If you show up at the time THEY schedule you for they will cancel your appointment because you didn't arrival 15 minutes early. What sense does that make. If they want you there at a specific time why not schedule it for that time. We are living in times where you have to expect the worst of the worst even from a physician office. Professionalism no longer exist. Save yourself some time and don't even consider this place for healthcare. It's a joke.

Great office, I been going here since I was high school and now as adult. Great customer service and very knowledgeable doctors. Katie and Micheal the physician assistants are phenomenal. Highly recommended!!

This is a wonderful medical facility. Although some may find the front desk staff "unavailable", they take the patients' care very seriously. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone seeking a family physician.

It's horrible that whenever you need to call the front office, the phone is never available that you end up calling on-call nurse. Front desk ladies are never eager to assist you. They always have something negative about your request. Medical assistant practitioner. Johnson is horrible doesn't follow up. Whe ever you call the front desk, They put you on a long hold. Forget about you. It's just horrible. I do not recommend this medical practice. And medical assistant Johnson does not follow up any information on bloodwork or paperwork that is given to him or refills on prescription. I will be changing my husband to a different doctor Dr. Hud boy is very good but his nurses and his staff suck they don't care about the patients at all and apparently Dr. Hud boy doesn't know about this.

They want you 15 minutes before the app, but you have to wait 2 hrs waiting room and 2 hrs inside in the room . Never more!

The staff is very nasty and unprofessional. They try to serve you disrespectfully and are not forthcoming with any resolutions to help resolve your issues. Quite sad because they lost a loyal customer in me. I don't & would not recommend this medical office.

I've been coming here for years, the staff and all the Doctors are very professional and nice. Sometimes i do have to wait, i understand, they have lots of patients to see. Dr Akmal is who i see, always ask how i am doing and treats me like family.

I rarely write a negative review about any business, however the staff at the check-in counter in this place is so unprofessional and super rude, long story short, had an appointment at 1:00PM, was in the lobby at 12:50, light were off and there was lunch break sign at 1:00 walked in she said sorry I had to let other patient in, you were supposed to be here 12:30!! why you didn't give me a 12:30 appointment then? and you you let someone in before my appointment time even!, they basically don't respect people's time. avoid this place!

First time appointment and I must truly say the ladies at the back were the best! The office seems a bit older so when I used the facilities it appeared a bit dated. The building has hand sanitizers at each window so the cleaning upkeep is there. I met with Dr. Katie Kurtz and she was so sweet! Definitely explained everything to me and probed for specifics on my conditions and provided information on my medication and also assisted with helping me find specialty treatment. The person answering the phone seems passive aggressive but, I’m sure they are nice as I’ve encountered a few MA’s that were good! I’d recommend trying them for PCP service. Oh and the ladies who helped me when I was Checking out (felt dizzy and light headed) the coke was cool the cookies were great! Thanks for caring ?

This place has a horrible support staff. The racism is subtle but still detectable! Very transactional experience! If you are a person of color, I advise you to go somewhere that will genuinely care about your betterment. Don’t be fooled by the diversity as it is for show! Very wicked and unconcerned Caucasian staff. Do not waste your money or time on people who DO NOT WISH YOU WELL!
