I've been getting 3 of my cars serviced at McCart's for the last 3 years and they always deliver! I'm not a big fan of dealerships. They always give you a laundry list of things that don't really need to be done and overcharge you! So, it's good to find a local independent mechanic that's honest, does great work, and provides great customer service! The staff at McCart's Auto Center are your guys!

I decided to take my 2009 Camry to McCart's for engine work because of the services offered and the good reviews. I was not disappointed! The auto repair company offers excellent service with great communication. A really nice feature of the company (at the time of this review) is the no surcharge on your credit card when paying. Many auto repair shops will add a surcharge fee if you pay with a credit card and that can really cost you. McCart's will be my go-to-shop for future work on my vehicle.

The shop will remember when I had my car towed to their shop after a flash flood needing my spark plugs replaced. They sent me home because I was told the wet seats were a mold hazard to themselves and their employees. Note the car was towed to them the day after it was flooded, not days/weeks later. They offered no workaround of their own for getting the wet car into their garage. They agreed to work on the car if I had the seats reupholstered. I went off to get a quote, replacement seats are the same price or cheaper, came back with dry seats and asked for the same thing in order to get help.
Update 7/4/24 (response to shop response): they offered a professional seat cleaning that cost as much as replacement seats that, yes, I did drive off their lot in preference of handling the wet seats elsewhere due to the pricing of their professional seat cleaning estimate. As I was pulling off their lot I told them I'd be back, while I got the seats taken care of, because, as they said, the car ran. Like I said, I told them before I left their lot that I'd be back and I never told them I had no intention of doing business with them. As for the reason why I returned to the shop, I did because I said I would. I had the spark plugs replaced with you guys. Every repair I chose to have done elsewhere was because it was cheaper.
Note: they wouldn't sit on my seats which were wet because of the flash flood. Do with that information what you want.

First time using McCart’s… it was the easiest, most hassle free, quickest turnaround and cheapest repair I’ve ever had! Gene, Lee and Kelly are so kind and all around awesome! Thank you guys!!

I began using McCart's for oil changes and minor maintenance work on my truck last year (2023) as I found them to be upfront and honest, knowledgeable mechanics, their prices are very reasonable and competitive, and they don't leave your vehicle in a dirty or nasty condition. I was tired of having to degrease the floormats, trim and quarter panels after oil changes at the dealership.
As anyone familiar with Conyers knows, there are nearly 3 tire shops for every resident. When I scheduled a recent oil change I asked McCart's for a quote on tires and to my surprise their price was lower than any of the ump-teen tire stores around so not only will I be taking all my vehicles to McCart's for maintenance and repair, but I'll be getting tires from them too.

I had a wonderful experience with getting repairs done! I unfortunately had a nightmare experience at another place; and they were unable to identify the problem with my car that was still under warranty. McCart was able to identify it promptly! I was notified of the estimate cost; and it ended up much lower than anticipated price. They were honest and kept communication as the repair happened and that is all a customer should expect. Most mechanics have a bad reputation with over inflating labor to boost profits however, McCart appears to be different and actually have integrity which is a rarity nowadays. Thank you McCart!

Gene is Awesome with communication and operates with Superb Customer Service!! The upfront information on what repairs are needed is great, and the actual repairs are even greater!!
I took 2 vehicles to McCart's and am very satisfied with the service provided on both. I honestly can't see myself taking any vehicle in need of repair any where else, especially as a single mother seeking to avoid scams and unneccesary upcharges.
I will absolutely be doing more business with them again in the near future, and highly recommend McCart's Auto Center for all your auto service needs!

I've used these guys for years. They are professional and courteous. They know what they're doing and always do a great job.
They are super thorough and will communicate if there's anything additional needed or recommended outside of the original scope of work.
Some places you go, it seems like they just want to upsell or trick you into additional work. Not these guys.
I trust them with all of my vehicles and I recommend anyone to them.

McCart’s is the definition of going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction and a reliable mode of transportation. The communication throughout the repair process was astounding, as they continued to keep me informed with any updates as my car was being worked on. McCart’d also went the extra mile, literally, the test drive my car numerous times— doing their due diligence to ensure my safety on the road after my repair.
These are great people, they do great work, and they’re Braves fans (: doesn’t get any better than that!!

Brought in my older 4Runner in that has been pinging/pre-ignition issue. For the nearly two years I've been trying to fix this issue and have been to several shops who could not fix the issue. McCart's tested my truck out for a while and ended up suggesting the BG induction cleaning service, though they did so with honesty by making no exact promises which I appreciate. Generally these services feel like snake oil since there are so many useless ones out there, but this time I am happy to report that it was NOT snake oil! After the service I slowly transitioned the truck back to regular 87 fuel WITHOUT pinging! Several hundred miles later I can still confirm she is ping free! No more pinging, no more struggling on the highway, and no more wasting money on premium fuel! I am now a firm believer in the service and really appreciate McCart's for suggesting it! Next time I will go to them first.
