The barber lady who lines your beard is horrible, went there twice and made my beard crooked as hell TWICE she'll make your beard look lopsided and think it's looks straight. Beware

I booked an appointment with Shemayah like 3 weeks in advance. She calls me the day of and ask to push my appointment from 4:30 to 5:30 and I'm like cool. Get there 5 minutes early and she has a guy in the chair and says I'm just starting his head. I was cool because most guys get simple braids at the top so I didn't think it would take long. Then 40 minutes had passed and it was barely any real progress. I'm sorry my time is very valuable and professionalism is #1 in my book. From other reviews it looks like I should've booked Keisha.

I love the atmosphere in there. Faye is amazing, you can truly sit down, and let her do whatever she wants. The ladies are friendly, and make anyone's experience a pleasurable one. There is no long wait for service, and you don't give up your whole day getting your hair done.

This is my second time at Knoir, they have friendly and Fast service. Simone is my stylist...she is always concerned about the health of my hair which is key and refreshing to hear. I came home today and hubby loved it. So, Thank you again Simone. I'll see you again soon.

Fast and friendly service. Simone is my stylist...she is always concerned about the health of my hair overall. She is almost always there and willing to take walk-in clients and will make you want to come back next week. I recommend this salon.

So I have never been a client at this salon. I take my boys to the barber shop next door on a regular basis. This particular time I needed to use the restroom and I didn't want to go all the way to the back of the barbershop. Sometimes its full of guys and I just feel a little out of place. So I decided to go in the salon and ask to use the restroom. I always so the salon and wondered if anyone there could wash and press my extensions. A light skinned girl with dreads was nice enough to let me use the restroom. About thirty minutes later (while back at the barber shop) I realized I misplaced my phone. I started to back track. I went back to the salon, but the door was locked. It was around 8:30pm. One of the barbers new the owner, and knocked on the door. A very pretty dark skinned, thin girl, opened the door. I told her the situation and she allowed me to come in. We went back toward the restroom and waited, because the restroom was occupied. We talked and the nice girl called my phone for me, to see if we could hear it ring. As we waited, a very angry, dark skinned, very obese, very irritated, very hostile, very rude, very unprofessional lady; with shaved sides of her hair and long skinny braids; who came out of a small room like a wilder beast in heat and began to tell me to leave the area. She was obviously very unhappy! The young girl looked at me with pity. I obeyed her orders and went toward the front. I decided not to stay inside and went outside the salon. She kept saying you have to go up front, it is after hours. She kept swinging her braids as if it was a way to release tension for her. I could not believe how rude she was. I could have been a potential customer one day. That will never ever happen because of the "angry black woman". I'm not sure if it was because she was upset about something else or maybe my slim appearance and lighter skin annoyed her. I hope she finds peace, I will pray for her. If you go to this salon, steer clear of the ANGRY BLACK WOMAN!!!!!

I wouldn't recommend this place for nails. Stick to a real nail salon & avoid these spas that try to incorporate every female need into one place. My man/pedi wasnt good at all! Bubbles and everything
