Don't waste your money or time. They overcharge you for their services and don't even do the work right. They are suppose to be the competent ones. They had to refill my taxes for the last 2 yrs. Im still waiting on my refund.

Every time you contact them about stimulus payments they have a different excuse or explanation. They’ve made this time so much more confusing and exhausting for people. This will definitely be ours and many people’s last year even using them again.

I am giving them three stars because Amy Guilroy was phenomenal. She is extremely knowledgeable and one of the ONLY people that I would deal with if I were to ever return. I had several years to process and Amy did the first few quickly, efficiently, and gave me a great rate on them. I had to go back on a different day as I was missing necessary documents and dealt with another woman who wasn't as knowledgeable. Although, she was sweet, she wasn't as knowledgeable nor comfortable with the tax forms as Amy which was unsettling. She seemed confused and I would think my taxes are fairly easy to do for a tax professional considering I was pretty much using an EZ form. She did an amendment to my return and told me that she would file them electronically and I would receive an email when completed. I paid and left thinking it had been handled. A week later I realized I hadn't received an email so called and was informed by another employee that you can not electronically file an amended return and she actually did nothing with them. So my documents sat for a week without her doing anything or even notifying me that she was unable to electronically file them. I ended up having to return to get the documents printed so I can mail them out myself. I wouldn't go as far as to say I wouldn't return because Amy was amazing but if I do return she would be the ONLY person I would allow to do my taxes.

Terrible experience. Totally screwed up our taxes and had to have an accountant fix them. Go see an accountant. I would not recommend this place at all.

I am VERY unhappy with the service that I received here. First of all, I was paired with a tax specialist who wasn t even sure of what he was doing. He had to have the other tax specialist look over his work to make sure he filed everything for me correctly. I filed my taxes on February 5th and it is now March 16th and I have still not received my refund yet. Come to find out, H&R block filed my wife s school credits incorrectly and now I am having to suffer by waiting another possible 5-6 weeks to get my income tax (along with 660,000 other people, check the news). On top of that, I find out that the tax specialist took down the wrong routing number for my direct deposit. So now I may have to wait even longer for the refund if I cannot catch the IRS before they send it. I WILL NOT be coming back for their services or referring anyone to them unless H&R block finds some way of compensating me for their mess.
