I came here to do my taxes if they could help me get my second stimulus payment. There was one tax advisor helping a couple. The receptionist said 30 minutes and that she would flag me down in my car just at the entrance to go in and see her. Well after the couple left, the receptionist told the agent that I just had merely had a question, to which the agent responded that I do not answer questions and proceeded to take someone else in line instead. I wasn’t just asking a question, I was going to give my business but now I would not recommend going here. They don’t care about doing the right thing. Please avoid if your trying to get the biggest retuen for your taxes.

I dropped off my veteran father's taxes to be completed not only for tax day but to include in his application for long-term care with the Veterans Administration as his Parkinson's has progressed for the worse. When I dropped off his paperwork, I was told it would likely be ready the next day. I asked the front desk staff member to have my assigned tax professional call me to discuss it with me; I was NEVER provided a price upfront and I never received that call. In fact, the store would close for the season without ever contacting me. After contacting corporate, I am directed to the other H&R Block store in Conyers. After leaving multiple messages with the receptionist there, I continued to be ignored. I would not get a call back for more than 30 days, during which time my father's application for the VA was delayed. Upon arriving at the store and speaking with Tonya Weed to ask what the problem was, she told me it was the first she heard of it. So either she's lying or the receptionist never passed on my messages, either way it's bad. Asking again how this could happen under such critical circumstances, she said and I quote, "It's not my company, I don't owe you an explanation." I explained to her that as an employee it was her company and she did. I then asked why I was never provided upfront pricing, as she stood next to a poster guaranteeing it; she walked away into her office without another word and pretended I didn't exist. This person is utterly despicable for unrepentantly holding up the care of an American soldier who served his country, and so is H&R Block for employing such a person. I've been getting my taxes done with them for 20 years, that obviously stops now in the absence of drastic action.

I dropped off my veteran father's taxes to be completed not only for tax day but to include in his application for long-term care with the Veterans Administration as his Parkinson's has progressed for the worse. When I dropped off his paperwork, I was told Tenellia Williams would have it ready the next day. I asked the front desk staff member to have her call me to discuss it with me; I was NEVER provided a price upfront and I never received that call. In fact, the store would close for the season without ever contacting me. After contacting corporate, I am directed to the other H&R Block store in Conyers where Tenellia was now working. After leaving multiple messages with the receptionist there, she continued to ignore me. I would not get a call back for more than 30 days, during which time my father's application for the VA was delayed.
