I just processed my second car loan through Georgia United credit union. The process was easy & convenient. The staff, especially Darlene was a tremendous help. I felt like all my questions were clearly answered. And I got a good rate on my loan. Thanks for making my dream car become a reality! Darlene was fantastic!

I’ve been banking with Georgia United for over 10 years, and they have been good account wise. But I hate that any check you deposit through their ATMS will put a hold on it for 2-3 business days. And if that falls on a towards the end of the week your waiting atleast 4 days for the check to clear. My employer doesn’t offer direct deposit so I can’t use that method. And there’s also always a long wait to go in deposit at teller on Friday’s which is a busy day for any bank I would think. Also they closed the drive thru teller. That’s the only way my payroll check will be immediately available in my account. I’ve been told by tellers that soon there will only be ATMS inside as well no tellers and have to setup appointment to deposit that way. Most likely will be finding another bank soon.

After being with the Credit Union for over 20 years, I was recently discriminated against horribly. The staff member told me that it was "up to the teller's discretion," whether or not they would accept a federal tax check. Every year, the check is deposited in the same way and now all of a sudden my check was rejected and I have been put through hell. The branch manager was kind and said it was no problem if we both would come, even if it was through the drive-thru. After doing what I was asked (even walking into the Conyers branch) they still rejected us after driving all the way there. They are trying to require a joint account when we have NEVER had one.

Went to branch on 3/10/23. Had. 130 appt dis not get seen until 2pm the line for teller was thru the door with only 2 tellers working the wait for customer service was extended because after every member seen the agents seem to take a break …..what is the point of having an appt.smh

I came into the bank on two different occasions for two different reasons. Each time Ms. Ebony was very polite and patient. She gave my son great advice toward life after high school. She made the process easy and she was very helpful. Her customer service was outstanding. Thanks Ebony.

Very rude disgusting and mad bank tellers get a new job if you don’t want to work here it’s not my fault your old and dusty? oh and don’t bother to use the atm it’s always down? and when u go inside they can’t help you if you have a pay card from your job .this is the right bank for you if you love to waste your time.

Do NOT Set up a business bank account with these people. They are incompetent liars. I didnt receive any checks, the card doesn't work, and I cant do online bill pay..its been a nightmare since it's been set up. Whats the point of a business bank account if you cant use it!

Worst vehicle loan experience you can imagine! I had 3 cash payments made that were "lost" by the drive thru teller. After producing receipts twice, I lost the third, the manager wouldn't review security tape. Take your business to a more trustworthy institution!

Lobby is closed AGAIN and good luck trying to get somone to answer your calls and if they do they will transfer you to diffrent departments and when they do transfer finally to the right department noone knows anything. Iam just going to switch banks because it seems they can just open and close the lobby whenever they feel like it.

I have been a member with GUCU for almost 10 years and I'm very unhappy with the service this year. I have a company that writes my checks out and when I go to the bank theses last 4 months they will cash the check but won't make the funds available til 4 days later. Then I was told that I need to bring in my 1099 or W-2 to make sure it's a job like they are the IRS. It's always over 15 minutes to speak with someone in the lobby and they don't be busy at all. Also I try to opened a business account and was told I didn't need one at this point I have 4 account with them but in 2 weeks I will only have 1 because I'm so over this.
