“I want to express my gratitude to Scot Ward Funeral located in Conyers, Ga. My father who was my best friend and my world, passed away on January 2nd, 2024. I had trust issues when it came to where and who my family and I would entrust with my father. We chose Scot Ward over 4 other funeral homes based on instinct's and word of mouth. The best decision! My father was cared for with the upmost respect by the entire staff and our entire family was treated with such love and compassion. He slept so beautifully! “I feel bad because this review is almost 2 years late... but not due to lack of appreciation for the lovely people who work here. I am so grateful to them for making my father's death in April 2022 much easier to bear by being so helpful, compassionate, and easy to work with. I'd NEVER had to plan a funeral. Not even a part of one. And my mom, bless her, has a fairly severe memory problem so it was mostly up to me to handle it all. But they made the process very easy! They practically held my hand as they walked me & my Mom through EVERYTHING. And they even dealt directly with the life insurance company, so we didn't have to spend a penny out of pocket! The entire process from the planning through the funeral itself couldn't have gone smoother. I don't believe anyone could find a funeral home that can top these folks! And even though I've never planned a funeral before, so I've never paid for one before either, obviously, I have heard enough about the cost of funerals to feel like the cost of Dad's funeral was very reasonable! And it was a VERY nice service, with a little luncheon afterwards.TO THE STAFF: I cannot thank you all enough for EVERYTHING, and my mom and I will always be grateful to you for helping us through what was one of... if not THE toughest time in our lives. “What a FANTASTIC business!! The staff are the sweetest, most empathetic group of people which makes this difficult process easier to bear. I trusted them with my first baby, my childhood dog who grew up with me for 14 long years and they exceeded any expectations I could have ever had. They kindly cut some my Charlie's hair off his tail and made an ink print of his little nose for me to have as keepsakes per my request.
