I did not have a good experience here at all, the nail tech was extremely rude to me and argued me down about what i wanted on my nails. she told me the colors i picked would look ugly together then made a nasty comment saying “she wouldn’t even post these on IG” . I tried to laugh it off but i was extremely uncomfortable from that point on as she continued to make snarky comments to her co worker. she was really rough with my nails and it hurt a lot and i honestly feel like that was on purpose. She also over charged me $25. And that’s not even the half of it but this post would be too long. The owner is an older lady named Tati not sure what nail tech name is but they were both equally disgustingly rude. I will never be coming back here. 0/10 would not recommend.Service: Acrylic nails

It's a walk-in nail shop with "Black Girl Magic" all in it. I was greeted as soon as I came in and didn't wait long (that's because I came on a slow day). I love how each Tech was willing to help the other, that type of unity is priceless. I left with my nails shaped to perfection with some hand-painted designs. Definitely recommend ? we all support these young women.

What an awesome group of professionals. I was recommended by a fried, and upon walking in Zy sat me down and conversed with me, she was so sweet. I came back later that Day to meet Marcel, and he was very professional, courteous and answered my questions. They are warm and welcoming people. Not once did I sense ego. Overall, the experience was lovely. I highly recommend this salon to those in search of cute, creative designs in a warm and welcoming environment.

My daughter went for her prom nails and just saw I had to have them fixed somewhere else.We were told by the owner that she would correct the issues but that was a lie. She asked for coffin shaped ended up with no shape. Her polish on her toes was supposed to be gel but I have never seen it with bubbles. Paint just a mess. Nails half painted also charged 20.00 more for silver polish instead of white. I have pictures but couldn't upload.Services: Gel manicures

Worse Experience!!I was looking forward to getting my nails done today & trying to support black business. Enjoyed a complimentary cup of wine & thought it’ll be a good day. Sadly I was told my nails would be $55 at the start of service but when it was time to check out the owner said my nails would be $80. After letting her know what I was told she still insisted on $80 because guy was new. That’s terrible customer service and to make matters worse they preceded to mock Asians as if I was ignorant & oblivious of what they were insinuating. Now what if I didn’t have enough to pay for my service??! Isn’t that the point of asking before hand. I was going to walk out and pay my $55 but I understood at that moment they needed it more than me & had no class. Now I know first hand why they receive bad complaints & trust me I’m no stranger to paying over 100 for nails for certain occasions but when you say a price you need to stand by it & no nail tech should be working for you if they aren’t aware of your pricing! Made me Very uncomfortable & I won’t be returning even tho I purchased a membership for $30 smh but the poor experience outweighs the lost of cash!Btw if your looking for a great Black mail tech visit @nailed.goddess on ig ! Next time I’ll just make the drive to her because this neighborhood establishment doesn’t take care of their “girlfriends”Service: Acrylic nails

I don’t usually make reviews like this but maybe this could help improve a future clients experience I rated My Girlfriends Place 3 stars , so when I first walked in the workers didn’t have the most welcoming attitude but I overlooked it due to the fact that it’s a black owned business and being that I’m a part of the community I wanted to support . I figured they just had a long day and overlooked it, about 30 minutes into me, writing my name, down to get a full set ,I was welcomed by my nail tech , in which I will not disclose her name due to the fact that this review is not to say anything tarnishing about her personally because she was very sweet , honestly if I was basing my whole experience off of just my nail tech, it would’ve been a four out of five instead of three she was great and very accommodating … but my nails didn’t turn out exactly how I wanted them. They look as if I’ve had them for a while and it’s only the first day. At any other shop the set that I have would’ve been anywhere between 100 & 150 at the most but it came closer to $200. I guess I would say when looking to support new businesses do your research as well as pay attention to red flags. before I went to this establishment I noticed that whoever runs their Instagram page is a bit attitudeish almost every day because I assume people are complaining about their prices .. which from client to worker I can agree that the prices are a bit high for a new establishment, and also bad attitudes, but I am thankful that my nail tech was at least accommodating and we had a pretty good conversation but other than that I feel as though I was just a practice hand for her not so much as a paying client . I won’t be going back but I hope they make some changes for their future clients. I’m also an influencer so this could’ve went a whole nother way, which is why establishments (especially black owned ) should always be kind .Service: Acrylic nails

This was my second time being at this salon and I have to admit the vibes weren’t the same as when Tati (Owner) did my nails the first time I was serviced here. Today I was serviced by someone name Zha(not sure if the spelling is correct). When I came in someone who I discovered later in my visit was a trainee was more welcoming than her. When she came to her station the vibes weren’t welcoming and she barely said two words to me the entire time she did my nails. It seemed like she was more interested in conversing with the nice young man (I believe the owners son) who also works there. Like if I said something her response was dry but whenever he said something to her the energy definitely was not the same. As an MUA I never make my clients feel unwelcome. I converse with them and show gratitude for them even being in my chair but that’s not what I got today. Even as I left I said “Thank youuu!” Her response was a dry “Mhmm”. Long story short I would definitely wait for someone else to become available rather than be in an environment I don’t feel welcome. Although her work is quality I still didn’t have the opportunity to fall in love with my set this time because the vibrations were so low.Services: Nail art

This was a terrible experience for me! I wasn’t satisfied with my service and tried to express it several times throughout my HOURS of sitting in that chair. I was ignored and cut off every time I said something. Wasted time and money and the person I contacted about making it right couldn’t care less! She was rude and defensive. There was another male nail tech when I was there complaining about how he feels when a new customer pulls up! Like we were a bother for trying to patronize their black owned business! Disappointed and would not recommend.Service: Acrylic nails

I stopped by today 8/30/22 to inquire about a polish change on my toes. When I walked in I was not acknowledged even though 2 or 3 nail techs looked up at me. Finally I was asked, but barely, what I was there for. I did NOT feel welcomed. I felt an uncomfortable vibe time I entered. Once I got to my car I googled the place and my feeling was correct, mostly bad reviews. I wish the customer service matched the decor. DO BETTER BLACK LADIES!!!

I came in yesterday to get my nails and toes done and there was a wait. This nail salon displays very nice nails so I decided to wait. When I first walked in I was greeted by every nail tech with a smile, even tho each nail tech had clients in their chairs. When getting serviced the vibes and conversations were amazing!!!! The esthetics are beautiful!!!Im happy to say I have a new nail salon to go too!!! I rate them a 10/10Service: Acrylic nails
