These people will take something in and give you 1 scrap from another customer(that they prefer). I called and the guy in charge said they have a perfect system so there is no way it could have been swapped. Now sent it back and its scrap. so now my head with no problems in magically scrap. Be careful dealing with them and this perfect system.

My cylinder head in my 2000 Freightliner Classic Xl went bad. I bought a takeoff from Richard Kerns and took it to AFS to get checked out. They called back in around 3 days and told me that it was rebuildable. Good turn around and quality work. My mechanic has been using them for years. I also had my fuel injectors checked out, but I wouldn't do that again and here's why. If you have to take your head off of your engine to get serviced, go ahead and get a new 6 pack of injectors. When I got mine checked out, they told me that 3 were bad and couldn't be rebuilt. So it's not wise to get 3 new ones and put 3 of the old ones back in. Save the check out money because it costs $60 per injector to get checked, and just take those 6 in for a core, and get 6 new ones. Good place and I would use them again. ✌? Sorry that I didn't take before and after photos. I'll have to remember that in the future

Called in and got a quote on an injection pump being rebuilt. I was given a price range, after the job was completed it was more than 2 and 1/2 times the high end of the range (not fair) I could've purchased a brand new one from the dealer with 2 year warranty for less (Honor your quotes)
