I have spent lots of money at this store months ago with the old management, the prices were great and the staff was amazing. Now the prices are insane, everything is overpriced even damaged items. You can shop at the restore in winder on saturdays and get brand new Pottery Barn furniture thats not damaged for half the price or even less than half and better selection. Rugs and couches for $2,000, when these items were donated. You can also shop down the road at the christian outreach in commerce and get Havertys furniture brand new for half the price. You can honestly shop at the Pottery Barn outlet store and find cheaper stuff.

I don’t think when Jimmy Carter started this organization, he expected people to pay $700 for a coffee table!!! I went into store looking for used table, was shocked when sales associate said $700! This is not a high income community! People are not friendly there, either! It’s too bad!

When I first started going into this store I thought it was great. It was affordable and they have nice stuff. I've bought several things from them. When I went in there less than a month ago, I was in shock...STICKER SHOCK! I always thought that Habitat for Humanity was supposed to help people who couldn't afford to shop in the big name stores AS WELL AS taking the money to help build homes for underprivileged people. The items are all donated for those purposes... both purposes on both ends. I couldn't believe it when I saw sticker prices in the thousands of dollars. Recliner chairs $2000+, dining room chairs $150+ each, dressers $1500+. What a shame! When I said something to the guy that works there, he said that it's going to a good cause (which I understand). I said "What about the shoppers who are on small or tight budgets, people on financial aid, that come in here to furnish their homes while on a small budget... he said to me... and I quote..."There's the door, if you don't like it then shop somewhere else". I couldn't believe my ears! I'll never go back!?

The prices are above the roof. I got a huge west elm couch for $450 back in May. I went today to look at items and boy oh boy a much smaller west elm couch was $500. I saw a couple tables I liked. But $200 for a broken table? I thought this store's mission was to HELP people, families that are starting off or something. But in this economy, paying $200 for a broken table is too much, even if it's name brand. Such a shame. But I won't be going back. These prices are not for people who are struggling. These prices are for people who've already made it.

A great place to find gently used items. If you're looking for something unique and fit to your style then this is it. Everything from home decor to building material and everything in between. Some prices can be a bit higher than expected but for the most part, far prices for good stuff.

I love all of the great finds here at the ReStore! They have ALOT of nice new items that are a great price compared to the retail price. This ReStore is unlike any other I have visited. I have gotten chairs, fans, headboard, and even household items from here. The staff is nice, friendly, and attentive.

****UPDATE! This review was from 6 years ago… since then there has been another change of management. The new management does not seem to have some of the attitude issues the previous management and staff had. I have adjusted my stars ?I gave three stars because they keep moving the toy section out. (Many toy collectors around here) and because they do not seem to have a grasp on their pricing yet. Some of their non furniture items they way overprice. You can tell the new management is a bit inexperienced in the resale market, but over time they will learn.Old review:I saw this and had to add my review.I had a similar experience as the other reviews. I was also turned down over the phone when asking about donating a piece of furniture. I was told to bring help or forget about it. I also purchased a piece of furniture there once (and only once because my experience was so bad) and couldn't get any help getting it out of the door much less to my vehicle parked out front. The MANAGEMENT is AWFUL! The previous manager was much more pleasant than the sour puss who is there now. Not worth the negative vibe.Maybe these people should be in another line of work. You should be nice and helpful when people are giving you their money.

This place used to be amazing BUT it’s not anymore. Furniture used to be reasonable but I went in last weekend and they had a leather couch for $4,000…. Like really? This furniture is donated to this store for a good cause and the new lady in charge is so greedy. She is charging massive amounts of money for the free furniture that they are getting from Haverty’s, Pottery Barn and other manufacturers in the area.
I’ve furnished most of my house with furniture from the place over the past 6 years. Used to absolutely love it. It’s terrible now. They look up the value of everything they receive for free as a donation and 50% off the retail price. Their “sales” that they list on FB are still crazy expensive. Go to the Christian Outreach thrift store down the street. You’ll find some amazing deals with even better furniture. Don’t waste your time or money at this restore. They should be embarrassed by the amount they are charging for ‘a good cause.’ I wouldn’t spend over $800 on any piece of furniture if there was no warranty on it. It’s a gamble on damaged goods (which is usually why they are donated) that isn’t worth it especially since everything is final sale.
The parking lot used to be packed out every weekend and stuff was flying out the door like hot cakes. Now there’s maybe 2 cars in the parking lot and the inside is packed wall to wall with furniture that won’t sell because the prices are astronomical.
Anyways, rant over. Just don’t go there.

This store is not a thrift store. Or so I was told today by the employee. Was looking at a couple of small dressers that they wanted from $500 to $1000 for. If you donate to this company, I wouldn't anymore. They are selling your donations for an arm and a leg.

Our experience with this restore has been better than great. Staff always has attentive, and super nice. Yes, they are pricey in certain things (furniture mostly) but that is because some of the stuff they sell is high quality or from brand stores. But we always find options. Overall every time we go there our experience has been good. Kudos for a their staff!

I wish there was a rating less than 1 star. The guy was incredibly rude. My family and I walked in and he greeted us, saying the usual "Let me know if you guys need anything."And then later, continued to chase us around the store forcing masks in our face. When I told him that I have severe asthma and can not breathe in them, he continued to tell me I have to leave and cannot shop there. He said I could wait for my family outside, insinuating persons with asthma cannot shop at Habitat for Humanity.Again, all this after greeting us knowing we didn't have any masks. And even after passing another person without even mentioning a mask to them as they were asking about a big ticket item.So if you have any health conditions do not shop here. While it is against the law to discriminate on health conditions, it is not against the law to not wear a mask. Lost my business indefinitely.

No mask, no shopping, ok that is your right as the owner but it’s my right to take my money elsewhere. We have shopped and supported Restores and won’t be back. Forcing political agendas isn’t good for business.
