“New to Columbus and our dog needed to be seen asap, poor thing had ear infection and some allergy issues. They got me right in and took very good care of our little guy. They were very quick, worked efficiently, exspecially with the remodelingng going on. Not to mention very affordable. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you to the Dr and the whole staff for all their work and taking such good care of our little guy.”

“Dr. Perella saved my dog. He started experiencing coughing, wheezing, and extreme shortness of breath. I took him to the emergency vet one night and after seeing him for 30 minutes they suggested he be put down. The next day Dr Perella saw him and said she gave him a fighting chance. She was straight forward and honest about what was going on and his chance of survival. Yesterday he came home after being there for treatment. He is happy and fat and still has a long road ahead of him,but he has a chance. Her staff are amazing and friendly and you can tell they treat each dog/cat as their own. When I picked up Zeus, they were telling me they had all given him a nickname when worked with him and won him over with treats. All in all I know without Dr Perella and her staff, my dog would have died 2 weeks ago. Thank you for all you do!!!New edit: 7/14/21My dog is currently playful, happy, and yes will probably need to take meds for life, but he is alive. This clinic and provider fought for him like he was theirs. Everytime we go now he wags his tail and all the girls love him and he loves them too.”

“UPDATE(1/7/24): I wanted to update my review so everyone could know how amazing Weems truly is and specifically Candice. Unfortunately in the beginning of December our Basset hound Boomer stopped eating and was suffering on a Saturday, unfortunately there were no doctors at Weems on Saturdays and we would of waited until Monday, but we knew Boomer would suffer too much. We took him to Auburn where Dr.Butterfield was amazing and helped him pass peacefully. Auburn gave us the information about the place that comes and picks up the body and cremated them for Auburn. We couldn’t get ahold of them for days and we called Weems and they said to bring him there and they would take care of everything. My mother went and picked Boomers body up and it was disgraceful what two of Auburns vet techs did(go see my review on their page for the whole story), but when my mom got to Weems there was an angel there. Candice assured my mom that she would wrap Boomers body up in his blanket with his toy and treat, she also made sure my mom didn’t have to see Boomers body anymore. When I found out I called and asked Candice to tell Boomer that I loved him so much and miss him for the last time and she did. Candice got me flowers and checked on me and it means the world to me. She asked the place that cremated him to make a paw print and paint it if they could and they did and it looks so much better than how Auburn did. Weems also had the cremation place do ink paw and nose prints and when I saw that I instantly broke down because that’s the one thing I begged them ask them to do for me so one day I could get a tattoo of them. Candice also made sure the same day that on Boomers file it had that he has passed away so we wouldn’t get any phone calls or messages about anything he needed. Weems has been amazing helping us through this difficult time, but Candice went the extra mile and she always does but this time she went even farther and she didn’t have to. She is like part of the family, because if it weren’t for her we aren’t sure if Boomer would of been taken care of like he was or if Tucker would of healed as well as he did after his two surgeries. She also has a business where she will watch, walk, and etc. for peoples pets. She is the only person we trust in our house taking care of our pets if we aren’t there. We will only go to Weems and board there. Thank you to everyone at Weems especially Candice!We absolutely LOVE Weems Road Animal Hospital! We used them time to time 10 years ago but usually went somewhere else, but when we got our Golden Retriever, Tucker, that changed. They have been taking care of him since he was a puppy to him almost being 5! And let me tell you Tucker is not an easy dog to deal with ? he seems to always get into trouble and hurt himself, they have done both his knee surgeries and his best friend there is Candace! She is such an awesome, hardworking, and sweet person! She will even come watch Tucker or take him on walks at our house! They have also been helping our 10 y/o basset hound named boomer and have really helped him and us as he has seizures, cushings disease, and arthritis. We love that the doctors do not sugar coat things even if it’s something we don’t want to hear. They are in it with us helping Boomer feel his best and enjoy his senior years and the work they have done has definitely helped him!We will always go to Weems and truly enjoy everyone there and all their help! Everyone their is amazing at their job and we never feel worried when we leave them there for boarding or any procedures! Thank you Weems!”

“The staff is great, friendly, and knowledgeable. Doctor Wheats is incredible. She's exactly who you want helping you keep your pets healthy, and also, letting you know when it's time to let them go. I don't know how vets do what they do, but I'm grateful they're there!”

“I just transferred my dog from another Veterinarian on February 1.My dog was shy and nervous during the visit but the team that took care of her put her at ease. Dr. Daniel and Rain were wonderful. They asked questions, listened to my concerns and gave good advice. They showedgenuine concern for my fur baby. Dr. Daniel and Rain were very pleasant and professional. During check in and check out the staff was pleasant and professional as well. Also I was observing how loving this particular person was with the dogs outside as I was leaving on Friday afternoon Feb 2 after dropping off my dog's urine sample. A great place to take your pet for quality care!”

“I was super nervous to take my puppy in to be neutered and update his shots, but the staff there were super comforting and very helpful. My dog did everything to try to get to his stitches the very next day (he had an e-collar and suit and managed to get through both) and they checked him the next day to make sure he hadn’t torn anything. Definitely will be taking my pup here regularly”

“I didn't know we had a Tractor Supply until recently, and it was by far the best experience I've ever had. My dog does not like the vet, so home vaccination seemed worth a try. 100% happy with the results. It was cheaper than the vet, he was more relaxed, and overall a great experience. “Pet Supermarket on Macon Road , Columbus, Ga is the place for Pet Food and Accessories. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring, patient. The climate is so relaxing upon entering. I look forward to shopping at Pet Supermarket. There is a major variety of Dog food and play things for my Pit Bull-Terrier. I have made friends there and this is the only Pet store I shop in . “My cat woke me up at 3:00 am..she was looking at her brother kind of strange so I got up to see and noticed my other fur baby Zeus was not moving and laboring to breath. We knew he had a mass in his abdomen, diagnosed at Auburn. He also had heart worms and was given 6 to 8 months over 2 years ago. We knew the day would come but were not totally prepared. The staff and Doctor at the Emergency Center were awesome. They were so compassionate, caring and understanding. It made losing Zeus a little easier. They even made a clay paw print for me.”

They explain treatment options & cost in laymen's terms so you can make an informed decision about your pet's care. I have been bringing my little guy, Rocky, an atypical Chihuahua, to Double Churches for many years. All the staff are great & share the same professionalism and sensitivity. I wouldn't take Rocky any place else.”
