Love shopping here. I have noticed lately that they are outrageous on their prices on furniture. You can get new furniture for alittle more and you won't be buying hand-me-downs. I guess that's the price reductions???

They refused to take perfectly good furniture because of scratch marks. I thought Valley Rescue Mission was interested in helping families in need and not about profit. I'm disappointed knowing that there is probably a large amount of furniture and other good items they have and will inevitably turn down that could be given to families experiencing hard times. Hopefully we can find an actual charity to take the donation.

Really good thrift shop, often has better stuff than others in the area. Usually has a good furniture selection. Clothes and shoes aren't ordered by size but I've found some great stuff in my hard-to-shop-for size so it's worth looking through anyway.

One of the key reasons why the Valley Rescue Mission has better customer service is simply because they try as hard as they possibly can to keep the store neat and tidy. This means that it’s not a Goodwill store where everything is so junked up that it’s nearly impossible to look at something without having other items crashing to the floor. Nor is its shelves so packed with items that you can’t even look at a item without having to unsnarl it from its neighbor. You all know just what I mean. You don’t have six or more items with power cords insnarled with each other it sometimes takes near forever just to get them apart. The only real issue with them is being they don’t sort clothes out on the rack by size. Guess that’s why they’ve got lower fixed prices on clothing. You just have to be willing to pack clothing items in your cart without looking at the sizes. Then looking at all of them in one batch one after another. If I’m looking for something like cargo pants or shorts. I’ll pull them all of them as I find them. The ones that won’t fit me I’ll just put them back together on the rack in one place.

I shop in this store frequently. I have donated truck loads of stuff to this store. Today February 28,2023 I stood in line behind a caucasion woman, who purchased $66 worth of merchandise, paid with a credit/debit card. When It was my turn,I laid my stuff on the counter, it came up to $4.42, the , I reached her my debit card, the cashier, said I need to see your ID, never has this ever happened to me. I feel like I was singled out and I'll never shop there again.

Best place to donate nice items that have been in your closets, garage, etc. To help those in need. The staff there is remarkable, friendly, and appreciative. All your donations stay here in the Valley.

This was my first visit to this store. It was absolutely amazing. They had lots of home decor, furniture, clothes and so much more. Will definitely be coming back. If you are a thrift shopper you can't go wrong.
