I have lived in the palms apartments going on 2 years now and yesterday was the first time our hot water heater went out, never a good thing to happen especially during the recent cold weather we have been having. However, i called in and spoke with Deanna regarding my concern and she had maintenance sent out almost immediately! Unfortunately, today our water heater went out again(different issue with it). I called, and maintenance was instantly sent out again! I am extremely impressed with Christy, Holton, the maintenance team, and Deanna on such quick response times and being able to get my issue resolved WAY faster than expected! So, with that being said thank you guys SO much for everything you do and for taking care of your residents.(: I would recommend The Palms to anyone looking for an apartment!

Communication has been amazing since day one of touring apartments. Recently moved in and have been welcomed by everyone and everyone in management has been super pleasant. Abby has been beyond thorough, explained things very efficiently, and has been very quick to respond to even my most simple questions. 10/10 recommend the complex, very pleased with all staff, and grateful for the constant communication, effectiveness, and professionalism from Abby.

Don't move here, it's not worth it. There was shooting outside my daughter's window in the first unit I was in and loud neighbors so I moved to a unit off of the lake for peace. The rent was already $200 higher then it used to be since they were updating the unit but now they are raising my lease by an additional $300 if I choose to stay here another term and blaming it on market. A $300 increase is unethical to your tenants that are currently in these units. I go from thin walls and gunshots in the back of the community to finally getting some peace for me and my daughter by moving to the front side, just to have to consider relocating again because of a money hungry company.

This place and it's policies are morraly bankrupt. With the housing market as it is, it is unnecessary for a 60 day notification for moving. The company is large with no thought of working with people as people. They are clearly only interested in sticking it to people upon leaving. Steer clear of this place, you will regret it.

I love everything about the Palms and the staff! A special shout-out to Liz and Chris, they have been a great support since I’ve been here. Please reach out to either of them to set your appointment today to view our amazing apartments!*2023*I made this review when I first moved to Columbus and thought this was a great apartment complex until my apartment started having continuous leaks which caused mold (was told it was mildew after maintenance scratched the surface of the residue and smelled it, wonderful science) After having those issues, I went to the leasing office around the end of May 2023, two months before my lease was up, to complain again and they gave the option of moving into another apartment across the parking lot, but I had to pay a security deposit and first months rent, in the middle of my first lease. I moved in June 15, 2023 in the second apartment and it has been Water Park. This apartment is worse than the first one. October 13th, 2023, my apartment completely flooded with over 2 inches of water. I have constant leaks, the toilet is not even mounted correctly in my guest bathroom, and my master bath has a leak in the ceiling that maintenance has yet to find out why. I pay $1350 a month with utilities included and the office told me if I want better, I must pay more. I’ve been asking and trying to negotiate a reasonable solution but conversations from the property manager have ceased. I really thought the people in the office had my best interest but they don’t.

This place is amazing!!!The pool is absolutely my favorite part. I have met some friends that I will stay in contact with for life there. The office staff is amazing, super friendly and helpful. It’s always so nice to see the smiles on Abbie and Trey’s face when I go in. Matt, Ryan and Christy are always on top of any maintenance issue I may have. And Liz is the glue that holds it all together. Definitely would recommend The Palms to anyone. They are always hosting family events for kids which I absolutely love. Come check it out. Life is better at the Palms.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! They are INFESTED with roaches. I suffered emotional distress and damages to my furniture and electronics due to the infestation. I MOVED IN WITH ALL BRAND NEW FURNITURE AND ELECTRONICS. They proceeded to overcharge me for move out fees and triple charged me for valet trash, water, & sewer. The maintenance workers are very unprofessional and feel that they are above the property’s policy and regulations. My apartment was never renovated but my rent increased. I’ve always paid my rent on time and kept my unit clean, but was given such a hard time when I provided a vacate notice. THIS PROPERTY IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!! Do not give them your money.

My daughter just moved there and her apartment is infested with roaches! They were there before she even moved in there and they claim to have sprayed and taken care of the matter! It hasn't been a freaking month! It's disgusting! Get rid of the roaches and stop lying to get people money and get real pest control to come out! Have them to put the gel in the walls, cabinets and stop putting a bandaid over the issues! There's more than that going on in the apartment! I'm going to see how they move and have our lawyer advise on the matter. So far, they move when they want...no real urgency! They could get rid of the pest if they wanted too! A little time, effort and money! No one should have to deal with this issue and pay hard earned money for it! I'll update as things occur. READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE! THAT'S WHAT THEY'RE HERE FOR! My daughter knows this now and will do so going forward!

This is a horrible place to live primarily because the office staff does not do their jobs and neither do maintenence and they lie and take advantage of good people. They over charge for what they offer. Make sure you check carefully the apartment you look at because the renovations they did were shotty and not done well. It's takes months for maintenence requests to be completely unless something is flooded or blowing up. They staff drinks alcohol on the clock at the pool yet remain employed here. They will say they said or did something when they didn't. They can't keep their pools clean. There are people who are loud and smoking pot in over half the apartments. They will delete things from your account so it doesn't look like you put in requests to cover the fact they didn't do their job. They are bias and show preferential treatment to employees and certain residents. It took them 6 months and 5 times of coming into my apartment while I was living in it to do simple renovations. Each time I had to move and rearrange my belongings to accommodate them.

Mrs. Liz Dunham, the property manager, and staff including all maintenance is amazing! I’ve grown to have friendships with everyone and they are quick to remedy any situation. They are very friendly and easy to deal with! They have made so many cosmetic upgrades in the last year making the complex look nice!

Trae and Mrs. Liz were phenomenal throughout the entire move in process. I was on a tight schedule with moving and they made it happen for me within a day. The leasing office has such a family environment everyone has amazing attitudes and looking forward to helping with any possible need. I am so excited to call this my new home and so grateful for Trae. If you are looking for your new home, definitely consider the Palms you will not regret with the lovely people in the leasing office and the beautiful landscaping and apartments.

I made an appointment for a tour the day prior for 12:30. I came in at 12:35 after driving 45 minutes for the tour. First impression, the gate was wide open upon entry. Whats the point of having a gate if everybody can come in? After making it to the leasing office, I was advised to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for my tour so that he can show somebody else another apartment. What was the point of making an appointment if you all clearly go by a walk in system? Unprofessional, ridiculous and a waste of time. And had the audacity to tell me his schedule in the event I come back. I wont be. Save your time and keep your money folks. Terrible first impression.

I.’m not a person who moves place to place, however, with sincere delight, I am submitting this review. My meeting and experience with The Palms leasing consultant, Trae, needs to be shared. Mr. Trae displayed a genuine passion to satisfy me, a potential new resident, with his demeanor of warm friendliness and professionalism. Those characteristics can never be overlooked. They should be acknowledged! I could go on but I don’t want to omit the lovely and welcoming, Ms. Deanna, another part of an outstanding staff.
