SAVER BEWARE! My wife and I have been with Synovus for 35 years... But this past summer the bank allowed someone to steal more than $20,000 directly from our checking account... then told us... "sorry... but it wasn't their fault." They didn't bother to help us at ALL! And no one has called back offering any sort of explanation. They did cut off ALL the perks we had - such as online banking, Debit Cards, etc... NOT VERY PLEASED!

When I walked out of the bank today, I sat in my car and cried. Usually the service is amazing and the staff is so kind. But the lady I spoke to today was rude and so uncaring. I should have got her name but I was so ready to leave I didnt even care. Never in my life have I felt so embarrassed and humiliated. Maybe I dont know how the banks work but I have never had to pull out my calculator to add up the money Im depositing…. until today. I was very obviously struggling and confused yet the lady just looked at me like I was slow. If I see her next time I will politely wait until the next employee is available.

Their atm shut down mid transaction and ate our debit card this morning. The woman in the parking lot told us to come inside for help but the doors were locked. There was an old man there with the same issue. A man inside turned us both away by shrugging through the doors, throwing his arms up, and pointing at his wrist. Who knows how many other cards will get eaten this morning before they open the doors to find out how they’ve failed their customers today.

I have been with Synovus (and when it was CB&T) for almost 50 years and if ever I had a problem, it was taken care of immediately. I can’t imagine banking anywhere else.

I'm a small business owner and this literally has to be the worst bank that I could have chosen to use. Its like everytime i have to spend money i have to call them and clear it first. Never again.

Absolutely best Synovus bank branch around town. They are very knowledgeable and spot on when it comes to banking. Would not back anywhere else!!!!!

Online banking complete s#!t deposited a check on Friday was told it would be there this coming Monday and then on Thursday..... Thieves like Wells Fargo !!!!

Do NOT go here if you plan on visiting the drive-through You will wait 22 minutes at least, every time. I NEVER have this issue visiting any other CB&T. When you do finally get to the window, you are not even spoken to. Horrible service. Every time.
