I loved when we checked in right away it smelled clean and fresh, the breakfast has some good options. The room was clean and spacious and the best part is your staff!! No matter time of day and who was on shift, all of your staff provided exemplary customer service. I'm giving an extra mention to Crystal and Lisa, these ladies are so sweet, very informative on the area and very compassionate individuals. We would definitely come back here.

Pretty convenient location for our trip but kinda secluded from eating places however Sunny’s burgers and wings was wonderful!!Very dog friendly!! Recommended by BringFido websiteRooms: Really small rooms but for 1 night stay we had no problem. Stayed in queen room. Very colorful and every inch on the room was utilized which is very forward thinking. Very clean!

Hands down the BEST customer service in Columbus GA. I arrived to Columbus Ga around 2a.m from Orlando FL. I was tired and exhausted. I had to be up for a funeral 10a.m thre next morning. I stopped by 4 hotels all over Columbus and was met with attitude, and or a sleeping staff before arriving at the Microtel at 4a.m. I called first and was surprised at the amount of energy I was met with. Shocked, I asked him if there was any rooms available. Not only did he go over pricing with me, but he went over prices on line with me as well! Told me if I booked it, he'd have everything ready once I arrived. I did just that. Around 4:30a.m I arrived, he greeted me BY NAME as if we'd been friends for years. As promised he had everything ready, walked us up to our room and everything. Every morning, the staff was super nice at breakfast. The place was spotless!! It smelled of fresh baby powder the moment you stepped off the elevator. I wanted to personally speak to the GM and let him know how great everyone was, and what do ya know.... HE WAS JUST AS GREAT! CHILL, COOL DOWN TO EARTH GUY. He took the time out to listen to me, he could relate to my husband on several different things and he adored his staff.We will stay nowhere else!! This visit was a sad one, but the staff didn't know that and their bight, energetic attitudes helped us out so much. Thank you!!! Thank you!! And thank you again!!!I thank God all the other hotels turned us away. Don't hesitate, BOOK THE ROOM.

Don’t stay here. Bad customer service. Put us in a room that backed up to busy interstate ramp. We requested to move to another room and management would not do anything to help at all. Really didn’t care. Queen bed was more like a full size. AC was very loud. Advertised a continental breakfast which was basically like a cheap conviemce store snack bar at best. Book somewhere else. This literally reminds me of a kids' bedroom. There was no closet nor drawers for clothes. Instead yellow colored pegs! My son reserved 2 nights for me and failed to mention my service puppy. The manager called my daughter on her personal phone to inquire. I told the manager I have tags, paperwork for him. She wanted to know what he does for me. I told her. Really? I feel it was all about the charge they have for dogs. My daughter had to retrieve a chair from the back yard of the home we were closing on the next day because there were no comfortable chairs. The base of the beds are metal! Rooms are too small and the designer must've been confused. These are rooms for kiddos NOT ADULT'S!?

If you’re looking to stay for one night not a bad place to just sleep. Any longer than a day it’s the worse hotel iv ever stayed at. Nowhere to do your laundry, the gym is 0 stars, the rooms felt damp and the cable is garbage. Also the breakfast is 0 stars. Overall I’ll never stay at this hotel again.

I want to mention this up front because I didn't see it in any review I read before staying here: they charge a $100 fee for incidentals. Cash you can get back at checkout (AFTER clerk runs and checks your room), and on your card, it takes up to 14 days to drop off. Clean lobby and rooms. Sliding front doors lock after dark, but you can use your room key to come and go. Breakfast was lacking, so we just grabbed a banana and packaged muffin to go. Good location, felt safe and comfortable.Food & drinks: Vending machines on every floor

Stayed overnight while on a longer road trip. We had one of the smaller rooms, which was perfect for an overnight for one or two people. The service was good and the room was cozy.

I initially checked in for two nights. First impression upon entering the lobby was "very nice." The receptionist was also very nice. After checking in and entering my room I was further impressed. The room was very clean and nicely presented and the WHOLE staff was very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay so much that I stayed another night. The only thing that I didn't like was that upon checking out from my two night stay I found out that there was a $100 deposit fee. I am used to deposit fee holds, but upon checkout the hold is released. At Microtel they charge you the hold amount. I just checked out today, so I'm unsure of when I will get my money back. It would be great if the receptionist notifies you of this upon check-in. You could have patrons that cannot afford this and they would be in a messed up situation. NOTIFY, NOTIFY, NOTIFY! Overall, I enjoyed my stay, will be back again, and DEFINITELY recommend!

Flew in late last night, tried to find a hotel, one wanted $100 extra to check in and the other was roach infested. Took a chance on the Microtel and i am SO THANKFUL we did. We got in about 1am, the night staff was amazing. He was super understanding and extremely helpful. Within 15 minutes we were in our room. The whole hotel had just had its carpets cleaned (huge relief coming in from prior hotels), and the rooms were in immaculate shape. The rooms are updated, smell clean and ARE CLEAN! Last night was my first night out of 4 here, so this morning I walk down to the front lobby and ask if there’s anywhere close I can walk to to grab a razor, the front staff handed me 2. Free of charge. His customer service was also incredible. I grabbed breakfast this morning & it was good!Also conveniently located about 15-20 mins from Ft. Benning which is the whole reason we’re here.If i could give 10000000 stars I would, but i don’t think 5 is enough to tell how great these staff members were and how clean the hotel is.Thank you Microtel. If we ever come back to Columbus, we will be booking with you!Rooms: Super clean & updated!Safety: Felt safe, and quiet. Locks have the deadbolt. No weird activity.Noteworthy details: The staff were incredible. They have made this stay SO great! Shoutout to you guys!
