Called during lunch on a Friday about my elderly dogs eye suddenly not focusing. They called me back immediately opening and got me in within a couple of hours. All the front staff was sweet my anxious guy. The doctor and vet tech were so good with my grouchy guy. They were nice to him and handled him so well. Could not have asked for a better visit in a scary time. Now we are on to treatment for his eye. Thank you guys for treating my furbaby so well!

They are amazing. I've worked with them for years now, and I have never had an issue with them.
The front desk would always answer my questions, speaking with the vet to solve any worry I had. Some of my questions would be simple (overly cautious and worried), while others were complex and difficult to answer. If they weren't able to answer it over the phone, they'd schedule a visit within 1-2 days.
They are reasonable price, and have a lot of availability. They're absolutely amazing.

We have been taking our dog to Macon Road Vet for the last five years (since moving to Columbus). Our dog is very large and can be aggressive. The staff always treated him with love and patience regardless. Our dog was fifteen years old when he could no longer use his back legs. We took him in and the staff gave us all the options and answered all of our questions. They did everything they could. When we made the decision to let him go, the staff did everything they could to make it a good experience for us despite the circumstances. They never made us feel rushed and offered so much sympathy. They treated our dog with respect knowing he was an important member of our family. We won't go to another vet. They have our business for life.

We've taken our pets to Macon Rd. Vet Clinic for 16 years. They've cared for our dogs from first of life til end of life. Dr. Brooks and Staff are compassionate, professional good folks. Thanks for all you've done for our pets over the years.

NO STARS.
We had an 8:00 AM. appointment for our two dogs on March 31st. We arrived early to ensure our appointment and to get finished before the office got overwhelmed. This vet has had dog attacks in their office due to overcrowding.
We observed Macon Road Veterinary not follow their own appointment scheduling. At one point after 4 customers, without appointments, were served ahead of us, we realized that we were required to remedy their unprofessional conduct. They admitted they were not following scheduled appointments. But blamed me when checking out.
They have plenty of customers and are not concerned in the least about following their own office scheduling.
They filled a bag with $1000.00 worth of dog medications and folded over the top of the bag, and closed the bag.
Fortunately, I opened the bag at the register and actually looked at the products. Remarkably, they had filled the prescriptions incorrectly. Wrong products dispensed.
UPDATE: Macon Road Veterinary never bothered to respond to the fact that they do not honor their own policies. My review didn't actually even begin to address the ethically broken culture of these ethically broken people. Money, money, money is their ONLY focus.
Trying to give a newborn kitten an enormous horsepill size pill. Then telling my wife how to make a kitten swallow this golf ball size pill. And, telling her to do it at home, not in the veterinary office. If we had taken that medical advice, the kitten would have obviously choked to death. How is it legal for a ninth grade dropout to be dispensing medical advice?
Total clown show would be funny if animals were not being harmed.
UPDATE: Macon Road has my number and has never responded to their lack of basic honesty.
I found out that a customers dog was actually mauled to death in their lobby. No doubt related to the fact that they don't give a flip about anything except making as much money as possible. ZERO ethics and ZERO concern for animals.

This is the best vet in town. The amount of compassion they showed my animals and my family has been by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a vet. The prices are reasonable and fair. I feel like they truly have a heart for animals.

My Great Dane was got a bug bite that she had an allergic reaction to. Dr Hunter and his staff diagnosed the problem and gave her injections to stop the reaction. We were in and out in 15 minutes and the dog is doing very well now.

The doctor gave a good diagnosis and took care of our pet. A month later my pet had a similar problem and the doctor wrote a prescription without making me pay for a doctor's visit again. The answer their phones and they call you back if you have any questions. They provide their own medication on the site

Wonderful experience. Dr. Hunter and the tech, Danni, were VERY nice and super helpful. Danni even came back in and made sure I knew how the different medicines worked for my elderly dog with arthritis. I couldn't have asked for a better vet, even the receptionist was helpful and informative as I checked out. I would give this vet clinic 10 stars if I could!
