Don’t let the outside fool you, this place is amazing inside. The lunchbox museum is awesome, you can look at a row three different times and find one you didn’t see! From Disney to Little House on the Prairie it’s like taking a trip back in time. The owner is a wealth of knowledge and more than happy to tell you all about the exhibits. There is also an RC Cola and a Toms exhibit as well. Plenty to see and could easily kill and hour here looking at everything.

This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but the inside is AMAZING! My family and I enjoyed it so much, and the older gentleman who owns the place is so kind and knowledgeable about everything. I enjoyed listening to the things he talked about. There's an antique shop connected to all the little museums, there I found a Little Debbie doll, and I just had to take her home with me?

Found myself at the Colombus Collective Museums with my husband while in town from Texas. We got to meet the curator, Allen Woodall, and his granddaughter who were both super helpful and knowledgeable. We got to see The Lunchbox Museum, The RC Cola Museum, The Chero-Cola Museum, The Nehi Drink Museum, The Tom Huston Peanut Museum, The Georgia Radio Museum and The Car Museum for just $10 each. The museums are curated to perfection with so many bright, mint-condition pieces of history. With so much to see and learn in one building, should you find yourself in Colombus, GA, this is a must visit.

It’s like walking back through time while absorbing it’s history along the way. This collection of museums had different assortments of items ranging from lunchboxes and thermoses to Royal Crown Cola, Nehi, and Tom’s items to the progression of radios to rare cars. After exploring the various museums, I encourage you to peruse the antique section of rare finds and you may be surprised with the collection of household items, still filled bottles, home decor, appliances, and records. You can even start your collection of RC Cola and Nehi glass bottles for purchase. I recommend asking the owner of the museum about the monkey figures and who has the only other set. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for those new to Columbus, long-term residents, and visiting family and friends!!!

Loved it! Talked to the owner a while! I wish I could have spent all day there. I will be back! I I’ll be taking my nephew. I hope to come back and down the day just talking and learning so much from the owner. He is such a nice guy that he so much information on the local area. The granddaughter was as nice as can be and everything in the store is very fair priced!! Thank you both for such an awesome time. The wife and I tracked from MS to there for the callaway lights. I must say I enjoyed this place more than the Christmas lights!

Honestly, it didn't look like much when we arrived, but we were pleasantly surprised once inside. We were greeted by a gentleman and his granddaughter as we entered. The gentleman ended up being Mr Allen Woodall, who happens to be the curator of the museums inside. He told us stories of the history of many things we would see in the museums, which he collected every item himself to put on display. I could've spent the entire day just talking and hearing more stories. The museums are awesome, with a ton of history and displays that allow you to see everything. Wished we would've taken more time in the lunchbox museum, thousands to see...With flying, we couldn't carry anything we liked home, so they worked with us to pay for USPS shipping, and they sent our items to us.

Loved this place, so many amazing collections in one place. Besides the 1000s of lunchboxes the antique radio collection was really interesting. To top it off, we spent some time looking in the antique store and even though we really didn't think we would be buying anything we walked out with 3 unique pieces because the prices were so good. Met the 88 year old owner Allen Woodall, nice guy and really with it.

We had planned to visit the Lunchbox Museum on a prior trip to Columbus, but had run out of time. We were back in town for a day, and this seemed like and ideal time to stop by.The museum is located within 2.5 miles of downtown. The short series of intersections from Veterans Parkway is a bit confusing - you angle back over 90 degrees to the right, but then have to make an almost immediate sharp left onto yet another road. In the end, you turn into a sort of alley just before a storefront displaying a "Royal Crown Cola" sign. Parking was a bit tight, but you can circle the building to get out.Once you enter the facility, there is a modest antique / flea market on the main level. You can browse here for free. However, if you wish to proceed you'll need to pay $10 apiece. We were greeted by the owner and his adult granddaughter. He explained what was (literally) behind the curtain - multiple museums of lunchboxes, RC Cola, Tom's Peanuts, and antique radios. There is also a display of cars (mostly antiques) after you exit. The owner was quite friendly and well-versed on the subjects. I gathered that he had been running the place for quite some time. The 'museums' are obviously not The Louvre. If you like lunchboxes or had one or more as a child, you'll likely find multiple items of interest here. I was able to find one that (I think) I used in my preschool years. There is a staggeringly large display (~ 5000) of lunchboxes. There were a number of them that surprised me - obscure shows that somehow merited their own box... In some cases, they seemed to be an open invitation to bullying, but whatever. I was previously aware of RC Cola, but I did not know that it related to Nehi, or that there was an earlier company. I vaguely recall that "Tom's" was a brand of snacks/peanuts, but not much else. The antique radio gear was neat, though I do not recall the majority of the people in their Georgia Radio Hall of Fame (there is also one of these in LaGrange, I believe...). The car exhibit was somewhat small (2 rooms) but interesting. They featured a Plymouth Fury and a Ford Thunderbird pulling an 60s (compact) Airstream trailer. There were several other cars (some for sale) including a Tesla. If you ever carried a metal lunchbox to school and don't take everything too seriously, you might enjoy a visit here. I'm giving 3 points for the museum itself and one point for the uniqueness.

Kids gave 2 thumbs up. Had a very nice setup to look at lunch boxes, hot rods come on and a nice section on various Columbus industries from the past. Could use some better social media pages

Such an amazing place to visit if you’re into old antiques so much to see here. So much more then just the lunch boxes, they have radios, several soda displays an old general store/pharmacy setup, and a few cars to see. The proprietor and the staff are amazing to talk to and are super helpful.while here even heard the staff talking about new additions coming to the museum. Will definitely have to come back sometime.

this was VERY cool! it’s connected to a antique shop, so when you first enter, you can’t see the museum, but it’s behind these colorful curtains near the back and when i walked through, waves of childhood just came to me. the floors were bright yellow and red, the walls were covered in vintage lunchboxes (of course). the best part about the museum is that it felt like it never ended- it was more than just the lunchboxes. everything was super stacked on top of each other, but not hoarded, and it was very clean. there were also vintage cars that were in great shape. 10/10 would definitely recommend and would definitely go again! plus, there was a sweet kitty out front :)

"THE Lunchbox Museum" is a very unique tourist attraction. I was able to meet the owner, Mr. Woodall. This was an unexpected surprise. Mr Woodall had a career in broadcasting. Thus, he shared captivating and informative memories on the origins of his unique museum. At 87 years old, he is able to recall with vivid details the origins of his acquisitions. There are other smaller museums located into the same building. They include radios, RC Cola, classic cars, general store items and other antiques. It's clear Mr. Woodall is a local historian. He was able to take me on a oral historical journey. I was grateful he took the time to provide a very special and memorable experience for me.***Tip: The museum's sign is very small. You will see antiques outside of the building from the main road. There's a red light where two roads intersect. The building is painted gray. From the main road (Hamilton), you turn in between two one story buildings. Drive, through the alley. The museum is one of a few buildings in this small area.
