“Excellent!! This hotel is well maintained and the location is a great plus. Check in was fast and efficient. All rooms were booked at the time of my stay, yet the hotel was very clean and staff were very welcoming. The rooms are spacious and there’s surprisingly strong water pressure in the shower. I also enjoyed the complimentary soaps and lotion.Breakfast was splendid (especially the coffee). There was a great assortment of foods and drinks and everything was nicely laid out. Highly recommend.”

“I loved when we checked in right away it smelled clean and fresh, the breakfast has some good options. The room was clean and spacious and the best part is your staff!! No matter time of day and who was on shift, all of your staff provided exemplary customer service. I'm giving an extra mention to Crystal and Lisa, these ladies are so sweet, very informative on the area and very compassionate individuals. We would definitely come back here.”

“One of the best Marriott’s I’ve even stayed at. It’s in an old grist mill and they have made the old factor a charming place to relax and stay. Also, it’s in a great location for anyone needing to be in uptown Columbus! 10/10!”

“This was a great hotel to use while getting my kid moved into college. The rooms were spacious and clean. The service was professional and friendly. The only downside for service is that the website stated a complimentary breakfast buffet, but due to reduced patronage, I was offered a to go box instead, consisting of two granola bars, a banana, and a yogurt. It wasn't terrible by any means, but was not the breakfast I was looking forward to it or that was advertised. The only negative with the room is that the walls are very thin and I could hear every word the people in the rooms next to me. Some sound panels would go a long way. I would definitely stay here again, however,”

“Normally I wouldn't give this place 5 stars across the board but when you consider how everything is right there for you to choose from multiple room and bed options with prices posted in plain view and no extra cost! Everything is already in the price you see along with $5 key deposit so not the normal hotel room surprise where a $45 room ends up costing $95 plus a $25 - $100 deposit! There were no disturbances , issues or concerns during my stay and they even have an employee there all night! If you are looking for a super low price for a night or a week and don't care about the mint on your pillow type place (Walmart supercenter right down the street so you can buy a whole bag of mints with the money you save) this place is a 5 star hotel in my book and could be in yours too! If you're a luxury expecting person then ignore this review! I'll stay again for sure!Rooms: More like a studio apartment without the kitchen that a hotel room although some rooms do have a mini fridge and microwave!Safety: Well lit everywhere and staff on duty all night!”

“The positive: Service was very professional. I was allowed to check in 30 minutes early and was very grateful for that. The room was considerably clean and spacious. Plenty of hot water (negative to this as well). The breakfast to was okay. Pretty pleased for the price I paid, which this hotel does have reasonable prices. The negative: The vanity sink took a few minutes to drain but boy did it have hot water. It was either cold, blistering hot or that sliver of perfectly hot. The shower pressure was weak but at least the temperature was easy to manage.Other than that, I wish there were more meat options at breakfast other than the chicken tenders. Overall pleasant experience and would recommend.Oh and an added note, please stop paying attention to reviews that say the word "out-dated". The place is a hotel, a spot for a temporary visit, not a home or a weekend resort.”

“Easy stay in terms of check in/out. No special needs by our family, so it was just a regular stay. Beds and bedding are fine. Room was clean. It’s what you want on a night of hard travel.”

“We just stayed at another TownePlace in Aurora Colorado, it was a 3 star hotel, quite nice and true to it's advertisement. This hotel is rated 2.5, it should be 1.5. And that's being generous. Marriott should be ashamed of themselves. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone unless $$ is the determining factor. I Paid $425 for 3 nights.Noteworthy details: The hotel advertises itself as having breakfast, that's a lie! They have cheap coffee[was lukewarm at 8am], yogurt(s), juice lemon water and the cheap tiny red apples. If you got the yogurt, there is no cutlery in site. The front desk had no attendant. The room..I don't even wanna go there! The hallway looks like it hasn't been vacuumed for days. We drove 7hrs arriving at 12am and by 8am we had decided to take a lose and find other accommodations.”

“My mom's house flooded on her 85th. Birthday. While waiting for her home to be repaired, we've been temporarily housed since August. From the 1st night we walked in I could hear my heart exhale. The scents the people- as pictured here. My mom has dementia and was off the rails our 1st night here. When she wondered off and I had to call authorities, Megayn at front desk kept me calm, and Melissa, Treasure, Denise, Brianna and Kayla have been not only great hosts but a healing balm. I think I have a crush on the entire housekeeping staff here. Shawn , you're doing an amazing job here Sir! Not sure when we'll be leaving, but I couldn't wait until then to say THANK YOU. You guys are AMAZING. Marriott Bonvoy, add this property to top places for extended stay. Everyone in this brand should take notes on Residence Inn Columbus, GA.”

“This is one of my favorites place to stay in Columbus for work travel. This is with a filling EARLY- FREE breakfast, clean rooms, excellent customer service. The area is swimming with food options, Walmart and Smoothie King !!There is a pool and fitness center, which is usually my last stop before bed; the late closing times on them make it easy to do. When I ran into a emergency during a stay, I was accommodated immediately with bonus point! Feels like home.”

“While the room part itself was very nice and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom was another story. The bathroom appeared to attract winged creatures from gnats to flies. I left the remains on the walls where I had to smash them with the tissue box. This was after I had flushed several down the commode and sink.I mentioned and showed a photo to the nice young lady as I was leaving. She said she let the manager know.It wasn’t just the bathroom light that attracted them because they were there en masse when we got up this morning, 12/11/23.When I went to shower, the inside of the curtain was dirty and the flies kept entering the area.Even though the much appreciated chair in the shower met my needs, the bottled shampoo, conditioner, and body wash attached to the wall were way too high to reach. Those needed to be lowered about six to eight inches.Rooms: I love that they had two separate door bars for added privacy, but hate it was next to an adjoining room. The couch was a bit lower than mine, but it was comfortable. The bed was very very comfortable. The only problem I had with the room besides the ridiculous amount of flying creatures in the bathroom was the extreme dry air in the room itself. But it was clean and ready when we arrived after driving in horrible weather for quite a while before arriving at SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Columbus, GA.”

“I stayed at this hotel as a chaperone with a high school field trip, and it was a better experience than I could have imagined. The rooms were very clean, and the facilities were as well. The complimentary breakfast was very good and had diverse options for different tastes. The linens were exchanged every day for clean ones. They were also very careful about keeping our kids safe. I asked for extra room keys when some students locked themselves out of their room, and the front desk always verified I was their adult before just making a new room key. We also had two students get sick on the trip (unrelated to the hotel) on our last morning there, so when we checked out, I stayed in the lobby with the sick ones while we waiting on parents to arrive to pick them up. The housekeeping staff put us in a room, even though we had checked out, and gave us clean sheets and let the students rest comfy and have space while we waited on their parent. The front desk also ensured we had tissues or snacks or water or anything else we needed for the sick students while we waited. The staff went above and beyond expectations with our kids, and I would recommend anyone stay here any time. They're great.”

“Breakfast was great, but room out date, too much noise from others staying there. At 2am people were coming in and out of their room just talking and yelling at each other. You couldn't get any sleep. Plus I have not received my deposit back either.”

“This location in downtown Columbus is better than the Motel 6 on victory. Drive. I wasn’t a victim or a witness to crime being committed. I definitely recommend this location over the one on victory ”

“Definitely a little different then I expected but overall my stay here has been great. Wish it was a little less to stay overnight or a week. But other than that I have no complaints.”

“Comfortable stay at Homewood Suites in Columbus, GA. Room comes with full kitchen that includes stovetop and microwave as well as dishes, utensils and a dishwasher. There is also a small fitness center available on the first floor. Bathroom area is a little small in contrast to the rest of the room. The main con was the complimentary breakfast which was advertised as a key feature. The quality of the foods available were not good, and even tasted worse than the free breakfast that is served at cheaper hotels. There are plenty of other breakfast and meal options available nearby as the hotel is located on a busy strip. Would recommend primarily for lodging.”

“Hospitality sucked... My check in was brutal, tried to refuse my service dog and questioned me on paperwork... I'm still trying to get refund and deposit back..”

“When I pulled up to the hotel, I thought this can't possibly be the place that I'm only spending $75 per night for! I walked into the office and was overwhelmed with the hospitality, cleanliness, and warm atmosphere of Econo Lodge. They handed me my key, explained the endless amenities, and carried my bags to the room. When I walked into the room I was once again blown away. I saw there was a pool on their website but no hot tub, that's because my room had its own private jacuzzi! The linens were so fresh and the beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in! There was a beautiful care package waiting for me on my pillow, a warm bath already drawn with candles burning, and the 95" TV turned on to my favorite channel. The room smelled so lovely and the vanity in the bathroom made me feel like a supermodel! They brought breakfast right to my door in the morning. It included fresh craft coffee, a variety of juices, fresh fruits, pastries, and made-to-order omelet options. The Econo Lodge served as a personal oasis and once in the room I couldn't believe I was only in Columbus, Georgia. I felt so comfortable and safe in the room I never wanted to leave! But the location was so ideal, being right on Victory drive, that I had to go out and explore all there was to offer.”
