A complete nightmare! Three ROACHES racing on the counter, toilets constant running, stained and filthy couches and the smoke detector chirping. I took video if corporate needs to see. I shall NEVER set foot in this poorly managed hotel. This is not indicative of all Hilton hotels. Just this filthy place in Columbus GA. Oh I forgot to mention, the digital key hasn’t worked in a year. Plus the side doors will usually open without a key card. If you need an extra key card, they never ask for ID. You may even get double booked and have someone trying to get in your room at 3am like I did a few months ago. Spend a few extra dollars and at another Hilton.

No working vent in the bathroom. One of the doors was damaged and had to wrestle with it to read the key, a few bugs in the room, cleaning lady lied and stated my dog tried to attack her when he's friendly to everyone. Request to clean the room while out with the dog wasn't honored and had to ask a few times again to get it done. Breakfast was mostly processed food.

Comfortable stay at Homewood Suites in Columbus, GA. Room comes with full kitchen that includes stovetop and microwave as well as dishes, utensils and a dishwasher. There is also a small fitness center available on the first floor. Bathroom area is a little small in contrast to the rest of the room. The main con was the complimentary breakfast which was advertised as a key feature. The quality of the foods available were not good, and even tasted worse than the free breakfast that is served at cheaper hotels. There are plenty of other breakfast and meal options available nearby as the hotel is located on a busy strip. Would recommend primarily for lodging.

Pulling teeth to get housekeeping to come regularly.Update: Few days in a row I asked for housekeeping and they don’t show.Another update: The next day I get “scheduled” for housekeeping and confirmed with front desk in morning. Come back to room still not touched. This would not be such a big deal but I need to know when they are coming to clean and I ask for cleaning when I’m not going to be in the room. I don’t like having to ask for trash bags and having to buy them for the room.To be clear. I’m only complaining for service that’s once a week. Nothing crazy

1sr room had very bad odor and sticker substance from unknown substances on entire floor in kitchen and bathroom. Second room mived to by staff had the hit water turned if in bathroom sink and shower spout was so loose it almost fell off. Staff took half off of bill and stated they were under new management. Staff was nice but due to conditions I cannot recommend this to others and will avoid staying there myself until improvements are made.

We stayed from November 14-16Horrible experience, we will never stay at this hotel again. We booked a king + queen bedroom, suite. Upon entry, the smell just hit us we asked for a change but they said that they don’t have any other suites available. They sprayed the room which made it worse. Stains on carpet everywhere.Sheets had stains.Dishwasher and ice machine were out of order. Coffee table was broken.room service staff was so rude.We asked them to clean only one bedroom as we have an infant and we will use the 2nd bedroom of the suite. That’s why we booked the suite. Housekeeping said it’s the policy that everybody has to come out of the suite in order for them to clean any part of the suite. Which is absurd.I paid >250$/night to be treated like this.

It started with them not having a digital key ready for me when I arrived at 5 PM and, the official check-in time was 4 PM. I had purposely checked in ahead of time to make sure everything was ready. When I arrived, the desk clerk informed me that their digital key didn’t work 95% of the time. After they checked me in with a key, they sent me up to a room that was still being cleaned. The person cleaning the room asked me to wait for another 30 minutes. I was traveling with the toddler and an additional wait time when I had done my part was really taxing. The manager then sent me to another room. This room was shoddy, there was dust in the overhead fan, the tub was broken and obviously in disrepair, the couch was frumpy and broken, and the dishwasher was also broken. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Hilton property. This property should not even have a Hilton designation. The brand Hilton implies quality and good customer service. Neither of these descriptions applies to this hotel or their staff.Rooms: The room was shoddy, there was dust in the overhead fan, the tub was broken and obviously in disrepair, the couch was frumpy and broken, and the dishwasher was also broken. I have the pictures to prove it. I will try to upload them to my review. if that doesn’t work, reach out to me, and I will be happy to provide them for you.

Absolutely the worst hotel I have stayed in by Hilton!!! The room smelt like curry and wet musty socks!!! The couch was ripped!!! The AC/heater didn't work and cut off after one minute of running and all they could say was sorrywe will have our maintenance guy look at it when he comes in at 830 in the morning. Who doesn't have a maintenance guy on call for a hotel as busy and this one. I called the front and asked for another room cause the smell was so bad and everytime I turned on the AC it smelt like a gym locker room. I opened the vent to the AC and there was black mold and just complete nastiness that I can't describe. And then all they could say was sorry we are booked we can't move you. That was night one of my 4 day stay. So after night I was super tired cause I work 10 hour night shifts, I asked the guy at the front desk to swap me, which was completely useless and didnt care about the customers. The lady in the am finally moved me The second day next to the back door which the shock on the door was broke so it slammed like the wall was gonna break everytime someone walked through it. I finally was getting some sleep then the fire alarms go off for an hour or two. I called the front to ask them what the issue was and all they could say was maintenance was doing a test there was nothing they could do. They breakfast they provide was horribly grease and sub par. They good thing I can say is the staff that cooks was so sweet!! They lady that works the front desk in the morning was super sweet also. I have two more days and I'm at the point where I would rather find a place that's worth my money than deal with this horrible place any longer. Oh and you can forget parking close to your room. It's construction worker central so there double parked diesel trucks and work vans everywhere. I literally had to walk all the way around the parking lot at 3am just to my room cause of the lack of adequate parking. I've done a lot of traveling and I lived in Columbus all my life and I can promise I'll never stay here again!! Don't let the rating fool you!!! They boost the rating by making false accounts and rate the hotel falsely to my their review rating high. I wouldn't rate them anymore than a 3.0 and that's being generous.

I booked a prepaid one bedroom suite for my family, but when I got to the room, I noticed I was given a studio. However, the front desk didn’t mention a thing when I was checking in, not to mention apologizing.I called front desk, he didn’t want to do anything and manager was not on duty. Tried to talk to Hilton, they couldn’t do anything. I was told the manager will contact me next day, but nothing happened. (I stayed for 2 nights). This is not the Hilton service I expected. Will do my best to stay away from homewood brand in the future.also, the EV charger there is a joke. $1/hr for first 4 hours, then $10/hr afterwards at 6.7kw. How can one use them for overnight stays?Noteworthy details: the EV charger there is a joke. $1/hr for first 4 hours, then $10/hr afterwards at 6.7kw. How can one use them for overnight stays?

I will never stay at this Homewood Suites again. The staff are extremely unorganized - people were in the lobby at 5pm who had been waiting 3 hours for their room already. And our family had booked a suite of rooms but the front desk refused to let us check in for the rooms until the intended occupants for that room had arrived. Even though the rooms were all booked and paid for by us! The layout is confusing and inconvenient, the hallways were muggy (like a window had been left open for hours) and more than half of the doors to rooms that we passed had "touch-up paint" on them that was clearly not even the right color. When we got to our room, we immediately noted large stains in the carpet, chair, and splatter of some dark brownish liquid on the ceiling in the "living room", the one pendant light over the table had no cover (just the exposed light bulb, which was not the case in the other rooms for our family), the door separating the "living space" from the bedroom would not close all the way and it had two huge patches on it indicating it had been punched or smashed by something or someone. Also the AC unit in the "living room" sounded like a diesel engine and rattled a lot.And the bed was like sleeping on a wooden plank it was so hard. Thankfully we were only staying two nights. If it hadn't been for our whole family staying there together, I would have checked out early and moved to a different hotel after the first night. The only good things about this place are the location and that the lobby and outside areas are clean and maintained.

Apparently this hotel is under new management who are friendly, so hopefully there will be improvement.Check in for people Friday in some cases was 2-3 hours and some rooms were simply not ready. Even at 5:30.The rooms themselves are nice, with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is better than Home 2Suites because there is actually a counter top range. Some of the carpets are dated, some furniture needs to be spot cleaned. The toilets often do not fully flush. The breakfast was almost as good as H2S. The woman serving was very friendly and helpful, and the music they played was inspiring. The AC in the small fitness rooms was broken. Temperature was 84. But they had some good equipment like Precor and Peloton.
