I would recommend Jimbo to everyone going through the engagement ring process. Not only did he ease my fears right off the bat, but also educated me on all the nuances in order for me to make an informed decision. I was working with him from out of town which added a layer of challenge, but he was able to send me videos and even offered a FaceTime multiple times to showcase the different diamonds. We wanted a custom ring and he used his technology to perfectly match what we were looking for. Please consider using this jeweler for this huge life milestone. It will be worth it!

Jimbo is the absolute best!! He designed and created my rose gold engagement ring. He did a wonderful job!! We’re looking forward to coming back for my wedding band soon. The best customer service. A gentle and honest man. Rare these days. I’ll forever recommend Hometown Jewelers in Columbus.

Being new to Columbus I was so sad to leave my last jeweler. But I was set at ease coming to Jimbo! His store is clean, neat, and he is so friendly! He cleaned and polished my ring at no charge. It looks brand new! He also has beautiful jewelry in the display case. I wish my husband was with me so I could have showed him what I loved there! I will be coming back without a doubt!

If anyone deserves your business, it’s Jimbo at Hometown Jewelers.
All the positive reviews are accurate. Jimbo is the man to go to if you need anything done. I had him repair 5+ watches, repair a pair of earrings, re-dip my white gold engagement ring & a white gold pendant, place an opal in a new setting, & custom make me a ring. Long story short - I had 18 diamonds (10 of one size & 8 of another) that were given to me in 2 settings I would not wear. They were diamonds my father had given my mother, so they were incredibly precious to me. Also, I wanted them all in 1 beautiful ring to wear. Jimbo was exceptionally patient with me as we worked on a design I loved. Then he had a wax made for me to wear to ensure I loved it. Finally I handed my diamonds off to him to have my custom ring made. There were a few hiccups along the way - NONE OF WHICH WERE JIMBO’S FAULT. Still he remained vigilant, patient, & communicative throughout the entire process - all while being enormously appreciative of me putting my faith in him to produce a perfect ring for me. He did not fail to meet any of my expectations. I could not give him a higher recommendation to do business with for all your jewelry needs. The quality of the work is incredible & honestly (in my opinion) he undercharges for all the work he puts in. Jimbo is honest, kind, humble, gracious, hardworking, & has more integrity than anyone else I’ve ever met in business - not just the jewelry business. I look forward to my next opportunity to partner with him for my jewelry wants & needs. Thank you, Jimbo, for your exceptional service.

The owner Jimbo, knows his stuff and takes his time to help you choose/ order whatever it is you are looking for. If you’re like me and looking to use gems like moissanite or morganite in place of diamonds, he can get them & knows so much about them! I had no clue that moissanite was such a great stone to use in jewelry compared to diamonds, (its not just a cheap diamond dupe)!! Simply great ‘hometown’ service! **UPDATE** Yall… look at my new custom made ring!! Its absolutely gorgeous, everything i wanted! Its perfect! Thanks so much Jimbo!!! Lifetime customer!!
