Pleasing temperatures today made for a delightful visit especially with Ethel in the general store! She was very knowledgeable and gracious with her time and attention. This hidden gem of a historic community is the best kept secret in the area. Thank you for keeping history alive.

We had an amazing experience. All staff are very kind and friendly but we have to mention Ms. Effel, don't know if I spelled it correctly but she is the attendant at the General Store. She is one of the sweetest person we ever met. So kind and very knowledgeable about the history of the general store. A place to visit again.

Historically fascinating to walk through. Some buildings have volunteers in time period dress that discuss the history and function of their building. Westville moved recently from Lumpkin so they are still working on it.
Historic Westville is a living history museum that showcases life in the 19th Century. Dressed interpreters give tours and demonstrations of traditional crafts, like blacksmithing, carpentry, quilting, and much more! Items made inside the village, as well as other Georgia made goods, are available for purchase inside the museum shop. Ideal for field trips, family reunions, and even weddings!
