It was good. They put my daughter in a car despite lacking credit, only with 500$ down. Even though she didn't get the car. I'd recommend them to anyone.

As I've said before, they will not honor something that needs to be fixed after sale even though the sales guy Joe said he would. Even since this vehicle was purchased it has had problems with it. I'm still very disappointed.

Salesmen Reggie was extremely helpfull in helping us find the right car. There was no pressure at all and after several test rides of different cars we were able to make a deal that made us happy..

Vehicles are very very overpriced with very high mileage, none is worth the asking price, only for people with horrible credit ratings.

As I have sat and read many recent reviews from multiple sites as well as witness first hand experience with Gils Auto Sales I have decided to approached my review from a different angle. Yes, it was very upsetting to read the multiple bad reviews regarding Gils Auto Sales since me and my family have done business with them for years. I actually purchased my first vehicle from Gil's in 2000. I remember Whitney and her laugh. She was business but always kind and fair as was the rest of the dealership. So to my ignorance I purchased a vehicle from Gils this year in May without reading the reviews first. I dealt with all new faces and unfortunately I have not experienced the same good business as before. My vehicle has been at Rapid Tires Auto Shop more than in my driveway. I can't help but think if when a new generation takes over the operation of a company do they remember why they have a company to operate. I wonder if what was once established with good intent from a company to help the community as well as their establishment has been turned into a method to take advantage of the community and only help the establishment's bank account. In Gil's situation I think of in-house financing. See if a company can become a powerhouse by inputting such things as in-house financing in a community where well not much opportunity lives and the recent world situations have crumbled the working man and woman's credit scores then they can pretty much do as they see fit and the people are at their mercy. I wonder if they stop to remember that it was the community that built them into that powerhouse by entrusting in their once integrity and honesty as a locally family owned and run business. With that being said, I wonder if they realize that they aren't doing unfair bad business to just contract numbers or even customers, but to their community...to their neighbors. So, maybe we all should pray for Gil's Auto Sales to return to honesty as their business standard we all once knew and trusted. For all us know that what was once a powerhouse can become nothing at all for the next generation once corruption sets in. I do not wish that, as I know this community doesn't as well. And if you all could say a prayer for me that now that I am rounding my second payment I may actually get the vehicle to drive and it might make it through to the third. With hopeful and respectful intent, Kimberly Hopson

I wish I could say that I had ended up having a good experience with Gils because I did up until I finished paying off my vehicle and then all of that went down the drain.

A bunch of crooked, shady people. I turned the car back in and they had the nerve to sue me for the money. Do NOT even consider buying from these shady people!

Over priced paying to long, and paying to lease it then pay on it. It will take longer to pay on a use vehicle there, then a brand new one else where.
