Terrible!!! One register open on a Sunday. The other lady there was telling customers the register was down and it would take 15 mins to come back on. IT CAME BACK ON IN 2 MINS. The lady was complaining all while I was there, in front os customers. I love the store, but don't like the customer service !!!

Went to Family Dollar for the second time today and decided to buy some styrofoam plates. There was a big sign posted by the plates stating that " styrofoam plates and styrofoam cups were $1.25" so I got the plates and other items. Got to register and the total price for everything didn't add up so I told the clerk the plates were $1.25. But was informed by the clerk they don't honor posted prices. So, I was like dumbfounded how can you not honor the prices that you have put up in your store. Evidently this is their policy.

All the pricing labels are wrong, you expect to spend one thing and your total is $5/6 more than what is advertised. All the staff including the Manager need customer service training, all conversation are not meant for the customer to hear, and profanity this is a big no no. I know businesses are hurting for staff but the Manager has to be able to hold staff to a higher standard, but if he is involved in these inappropriate topics what do you expect from the staff. Retraining is a must at this store. I can say the young man that waited on me today was very professional which im not use to seeing this at the Floyd store location, prices were just all wrong.

Staff is always friendly, but on two different occasions I received expired merchandise. Once previously with Reese it was like 4 months old and yesterday my daughter got chips that expired in January and its September! Check your dates before buying

This is a nice store. They have everything you need. I really like the 1.00 selection of items. I have noticed that a lot of Family Dollar stores carry similar items to Dollar Tree. I always stop at this store when I am in town visiting my mom. She has been a regular shopper at this store since they opened. The staff is always kind and treats you Ike family.. They always greet you and make you feel wanted. They seem to have a great manager at this store because it is clean and the products are stocked. I will be in town next month for my moms birthday I am sure she will take me to Family Dollar everyday lol it seems to meet all of her shopping needs and wants.. Family Dollar is becoming better and better every year they have grown a lot and I love the gadgets they also have. Picked me up an awesome light up Bluetooth speaker. I also shop at the Family Dollar in my town and look for great values and buys. I buy a lot of the frozen food that is a 1.00 down freezer section they have an awesome selection when it just a couple or a single person. I will shop at this Family Dollar and my mom will continue to be a faithful customer.. Thanks for being such a great store. There clearance isle is also a must shop area in Family Dollar store. Hope this review is helpful for anyone wanting to go to this store.
