Family Dollar is my go to store when I need to grab something quick and not have to travel far or go into a big store and wait in line for what I need. The products are quality and at a cheaper price. It affords me to save time, gas, exerted effort, and money. The staff are generally nice and helpful..

I visited this establishment last week. I planned on purchasing some little decorations I found in the store. Upon the completion of my shopping I went to the register. I was unsure where to place the many items I had in my arms. I directed my question to three personnel behind the counter. "Is this where I place my purchases?" The young man promptly informed me "Yes as long as I can get to them and as long as you're not stealing." (Now mind you I have never been in this store before) I said I know you did not just insult me! He said I didn't take it as an insult. I didn't want to be on the register anyway. I told him well I DID! I said keep all this stuff I don't want it now. In fact where is your manager? I went to the manager and informed him what happened. He was livid. He immediately went to the register and informed the young man that he accused me of stealing and that this is a verbal warning. I don't know what went on after that because I was walking out the door. I think he should have been fired. If it were worth my time I could have sued them. ?

Rude manager telling me that I could go to another family dollar; Other employees blaming a new employee for an error but no one was even training her!! There also was another a new person just standing in the back not being trained! Manger was extremely rude about the whole situation.

Very nice staff, obviously good prices. Clean up this place though! Trash everywhere and cardboard boxes make it hard to maneuver inside. Also the side of the building has piles and piles of boxes. Call a garbage truck.

Unfriendly service...the girls inside at register there's one with big hair didn't greet or speak not even when spoken to they may have remodeled but the attitude needs work
