I come here almost everyday but today I could hear an employee with pink hair making fun of a customer and laughing. They were obviously disabled. It was very disturbing. Will never be back.

The store is always well-stocked and staffed with personable people. The hours that the store opens and closes however are highly inconvenient and inconsistent.

Shontae constantly harasses me when I shop at this store. She once made my 61 yr old mother cry by rudely accusing her of " messing up shelves " when my mom had not even touched anything on the shelves. She then proceeded to argue with us when I told her we had not been the ones that messed the items up on the shelf. Also, she has repeatedly harassed me over a double strap skull purse about it being a "bookbag". This isn't a bookbag ! It's my purse. It's listed on Amazon as such . Management knows I bring it in and I've been shopping at this location for over a year with my purse. She proceeded to argue with me in front of customers as I was at the self checkout trying to pay for my items. I told her that she was already told that I have permission to bring in my PURSE. She wouldn't stop and kept telling me that my purse is not a purse it's a bag. Which is not accurate. I just said whatever and wasn't going to continue on about it. But .... She kept on about it and got one of her customer friends to chime in about how my purse isn't a purse. They wouldn't leave me alone and harassed me until I walked out the door. I've reported Shontae to management twice about her rude attitude and so far they still keep her employed despite her deplorable attitude towards customers. I have no problem abiding by company policy but she needs an attitude adjustment!

Shante'( not sure I spelled it right)the cashier that was working day shift used profanity around my 3 year old daughter while we were in the store. She cursed an elderly lady and accused her of ""messing up my cosmetic aisle"" She was incredibly deplorable and rude to these two ladies.They didn't mess anything up because they were just standing there looking and not touching anything. And even if they did , THEY ARE PAYING CUSTOMERS and deserve a little respect geeeez... So after one of the ladies told her that it wasn't them who had ""messed up her aisle"" , the rude cashier turned around to walk back behind the registers and called one of them an old white bi***. She said it so loud that my daughter heard it and now has been calling ppl this for days.That is completely unacceptable. Later when we were getting ready to check out she was calling for the store manager to come help her. She mumbled " Where's that old white man at ". If this is the attitude she's going to have she needs to find another job.

They allow their employees to be physically and verbally assaulted.Three employees have been assaulted, one needed stitches.Andy Freeman, the district manager has said that even though they were assaulted they must continue to serve the perpetrators.We are seeking legal compensation at this point.Dangerous store who doesn't care about employees or innocent customers.

I shop DG regularly in Texas but while visiting my daughter I told her that they are carrying home decor items now. I had come to help my daughter decorate her home since recently moving to Ft. Benning. This location had the best stuff!!! We found some beautiful items for her home that look just as good as anything from Hobby Lobby or any other home decor store.
